Good morning to all my yahoo friends. Yesterday I was very combative with my questions, so today I have decided will be different. Tell me something about yourself, and how you are driven by your faith, whether that is god, satan, no god, whichever.
I would just like to know, and please everyone is entitled to worship who they may, so keep the attacks to a minium please
I wish you well

Hi. Good morning. Today I will be doing mundane chores and keeping an aware and compassionate frame of mind as I go through out the day. I guess I do live Buddhism as well as profess it.

For me this has meant not having an attitude of being overly defensive and taking offense to little slights from other people.

The day is going much the same as any other day.... and but for the change in activity and light levels, much the same as any other night.

It is a systematic Thursday like any other, and like most other days of the week. I wake up, I go to work, I come here at work, then I go home and play games or abuse people on IMVU or whatever. Rivers still flow because they can do no other. Mountains slowly move because thats just what they do. The stars are still burning. This planet is still crawling with filthy humans just waiting to be sporadically eradicated in a fit of universal randomness.

I have not made any grand new realisations today...
I am one day closer to my own death, and I have no opinion on that whatsoever.

I will do my thinking in the evening... on how best I will resolve my sense of identity and all it means to be me in the long run. I will continue figuring out how best to break down all that chains me to form and function, and gradually reduce myself to the non-descript.... to nothingness.
Reductio ad Nihilo.

(And... as is my hobby.... how best to try and convince other people to do the same, because there is an amusing irony to my trying to convert other people to my bizarre brand of slightly Taoist-twisted Nihilism.)

My day is going a bit dreary. It is rainy here, I am tired but still on here and doing laundry. My foot is asleep. I have to call the cable guy and tell him not to come over because it is just one of those days. Besides, the dishes are not done. I have to be on campus at 2:00pm and then to work at 4pm. I will be working untill10:00pm and then I will go home, smoke some pot, maybe have sex with my man and then go to bed.

Btw I do not believe in god. I explore the possibility of a higher power, but I will never call it by the name of god.

The way my day is going to go has nothing to do with my beliefs.

Today is going to be busy as heck, but that is just because of my schedule more than anything else.

Though, I suppose that my schedule is due largely to my attending paramedic school. While I have no faith in the 'organized religeon' sense, I do have faith that my becoming a paramedic will enable me to help many people during the course of my life, and even save some people from early death.

So overall, I feel pretty positive about today.

How is "no god" a faith? I can't have faith in something I don't believe in.

Anyway.

My day is going rather slowly right now. What does that have to do with my belief system? Absolutely nothing.

I'm an atheist. I think my day will go however I make it go. In short, I'll probably spend more time on Y!A than I should but still manage to get my job done adequately anyways.

Good morning to you too, by the way. :)

i'm a Christian --- asked Jesus into my coronary heart while i replaced right into a splash woman, and that i've got in no way regretted it, my buddy...........as far as a particular church that I attend.........that is Baptist, because of the fact i think they stick to the Bible extra heavily than the different 'denomination'.......... Why is what i think the fact? because of the fact Jesus suggested interior the e book of John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, i'm the way, the fact, and the existence: no guy cometh unto the daddy, yet via me." God Bless.................

I see the day as a flow of divine experience that my spirit takes joy in. Since holiness does not turn on and off, the only logical conclusion is that every moment is holy, divine. I choose to experience every moment of my day as holy no matter what each moment brings. Life on this earthly plane is a stream of experience and my spirit is here only for that, experience. My spirit's greatest ecstacy is the joy of experience no matter what that experience is. I choose to be as conscious of every moment of that as I am able. May my consciousness expand to take it all in.
Try it. See if it changes your life.
