Support.

There are some who believe, but are not ready to give all to Christ and let go of sinful desires.

That's why we must continue answering with hope of bringing someone anyone closer to God. May god be with you. Love.

You aren't being offensive, just a bit obtuse.

You may believe in a god, you may have your opinions about what it's intentions are. But all that stuff in your head is just your opinion, not a reality that bears serious consideration.

PS: I thought women had better language skills than men. Maybe an appreciation of the beauty of language. Chat speak is the heinous rape of lingual beauty when it's used outside a context where speedy communication is needed..

Please receive this in the spirit it is given to you- truth in love.
Your fluffy statement hardly conveys to the unbeliever the serious danger they are in- being under the just wrath of Almighty God, and heading for eternal damnation as they are. Instead of offering a false sense of security (which profits nothing) to the unbeliever, why not tell the truth? Look in God's word to find countless examples of proper, biblical evangelism- which always start with conviction of sin. Show me one biblical instance where the evangelist tells the unbeliever "God believes in you," or 'Jesus loves you" or "God has a wonderful plan for your life".
Acts 4:19
"Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,"
Notice that the times of refreshing coming from the presence of the Lord come after the transgressor is turned to God and receives complete forgiveness, until then, they are but sinners in the hands of an angry God.

I don't believe in god because I see no evidence of his existence. I also see no meaning in attributing every single thing to "god" if it has a perfectly reasonable scientific explaination.

I find that many people belive in god because it makes them feel good about themselves, it makes them feel loved, it makes them feel like they have a sense of purpose... all this is fine and good, but there are simply certain types of people, like me and fellow atheists, who cannot be swayed by good emotions alone. We need solid proof. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

It's not like I can choose to believe or not to believe anyway. Let god reveal evidence of his existence to us, if he really exists. I am not completely closed to the possibility of believing in god. Give me solid proof and facts first.

for once i am happy to see the words non believer used properly
so often it is used simply to describe non christian

i do believe in God but i have had reason to through personal experiences
in defense of those who dont though .. i have simply found that they have not had anything to suggest that there is a God ..
i feel that until such time that this personal proof comes along for them ( if it ever does ) then it makes sense for them to believe otherwise
xx

Why should I believe in the Christian God when there are thousands of other gods that people worship all around the world? Why are you right and all those other people are wrong? Until you can answer that question, I will remain nonreligious.

Well thank you.

I don't belive in a personal, creative, super being that is all knowing and all powerful because I've never seen one shread of evidence to support that notion. Just because someone wrote down a story that had been passed down for generations is not proof.

God can't believe in me if he doesn't exist.

I accept the possibility of a higher power, but I do not like to give him a name such as "God" because I do not feel that I need to prove myself to anything, especially something that has not been and can never be proved to exist.

I don't mean to be offensive, but, you should learn how to spell. Believers get criticized on here for lacking intelligence, so spelling like your in the first grade will not help you to be taken seriously.

You have absolutely no proof he even exists beyond your faith. So anything you say after that holds no merit with me or anyone who uses common sense and reason.

It's like me saying Homer Simpson believes in you, does that make you feel good?

not to be offensive back, but how do you know all this? Also don't you think everyone is entitled to their own opinion? I don't try to force my religion on you? do I?

Instead of wondering about what we believe, you should be in school learning how to spell your own language.
