You ask for an opinion and then ask us if we can "prove" you wrong.

An opinion requires subjective thought and proof requires objective thought, so that cannot be done.

Moreoever, you tell yeppers that you have "found god in jesus and buddha" but also claim you're an atheist? There's a lie in there somewhere -- you need to figure out where.

I'm going to answer snake-handling, because it gets so little press, and Chaos Magic because I just found out what it is.

I like to stick up for the little guy.

Why is it that all atheist have this dire need to try and pick apart other's beliefs? I mean no disrespect and if your intent is just a healthy debate, then fine but that does not constitute trying to infer that other's beliefs are not valid bc they weren't founded by the two men whom you feel are the only one's who were compassionate, etc etc. I will agree with you that both of these religious figures were exactly what you said but so long as religion provides one with a sense of faith, morals, purpose, or whatever needs that it serves that are positive, what is wrong with it? I don't think that there is a religion that is better then the other because what it comes down to is meeting a person's needs and beliefs. I don't follow any particular religion myself (but I do believe that something more exists, just not sure what) however, I still maintain the upmost respect for other's values and religious/spiritual beliefs. There is none that is better then the other because for the majority, they are all just different paths to the same place...Without using extremists, (since most religions have them) can you prove me wrong?

Hinduism and Buddhism. I would say Christianity, but Christianity is so out of touch with Jesus' teachings and message nowadays that I don't think it's up there as far as the "greatest" go. (Seriously, you think Jesus would have any problem with a homosexual? You think he would threaten with "Hell" a morally sound person who happens to disagree with some of the stuff in the Bible? I highly doubt that.)

I would never vote for Christianity because first of all Christianity is not "a" religion, it is a set of religions which are all very different from one another. Its namesake Jesus (not to be confused with its founder Paul, who never knew Jesus) was probably a wise man, as a Jewish rabbi of the Essene sect. But Christians themselves vary from Mother Teresa, figuratively a saint if not literally, to Fred Phelps, figuratively a demon if not literally.

Deism and Universal Unitarianism get my vote, with Buddhism a close third.

You're confusing me dude! The two best religions are Judaism and Christianity! We owe a whole lotta gratitude to the Jewish religion for giving birth to Christianity!

I'll let you know why you're confusing me a bit!
