Shouldn't the religion & spiritualy section be a sub catagory of Mythology & Folklore? Because as we all know it holds no more fact than the loch ness monster or Big foot.

We consider the Greek and Roman gods as such why should any other religion be any different?

ac28 - the greek and roman gods that we consider mythology have never been disproven either but they are still nothing more than that. Just because you have a fictional story book does not make your religion any more valid than mythology.

I never said that there should not be a R&S section. I said it should be more correctly in a sub catagory of the Folklore and Mythology. Due to the fact that religion is a Mythology.

Religion is only around to manage people .Remember in the past religious leaders where provided a comfortable life in return for statements like the poor man shall inherit the earth .The rich man has the same chance of getting to heaven as a camel through the eye of a needle . Yet the rich and power full surrounded themselves with holy leaders who proclaimed hard work ,suffering and faith in this life would give you eternal life in the next .
Seems rich people would be giving away all the money they make from the poor mans work if this was true .
It is all a scam on the people to keep them under the control of people who enjoy taking advantage of others and having what ever they want in life .
Thats because all you get is this life . I have not met a large number of people who have claimed to have returned .
The so called people who can talk to the dead do not do so for free and many have become quite rich doing so .
Guess they have talked to rich people on the other side despite Gods warning to the rich about passing through the eye of a needle .

No. It's religion and spirituality. You're question implies you have no respect for what anyone believes. We have the right to be here to post our religions and beliefs. Christian, Jews, Muslims, Atheists, Pagan, Wiccan and so on. We may not agree with eachother, but we have no right to suggest that any of them belong in a section other then one that is created to harold religion and spiritual beliefs!

You make a valid point but what it comes down to is that whether or not there is any factual proof that any religion is real, it does prove to be real to those that follow religion in their everyday lives. Religion is real at least in the context of those who believe and to try and reduce that to anything less bc you and some others feel that we need to take the whole I need proof in order to believe it, is just meeting the needs of only the more atheist point of view and is just being narrowminded to other's values. There is nothing wrong with believing that religion is a load of crap but it is wrong to make statements like this knowing that everyone does not share your point of view. Everyone is entitled to their thoughts and beliefs (just as you are entitled to yours) but I think that a line needs to be drawn when those thoughts and comments are needlessly used to attack other's.

You can't disprove God's existence. No one can, though many have tried and failed. So, since it hasn't been disproved, it can't be mythology, can it?
And just so you know, the Bible holds more fact than anything else on earth.
