Do you believe in divine intervention? Where an omnipotent God can suspend time and the laws of nature to help someone. For instance, knubs on hand suddenly materialize into human fingers, a person who has multiple disease, suddenly cured even though the odds were against him/her. Just anything that is impractical in the land of science. Have you ever experienced or heard cases, if so, please share. Thank you

Explain how? I don't find all Bibles agree and King James I was a gay man who made a lot of changes, not to mention the fact that even the gospels don't always agree on places, times, people present, and the order and importance of events.

Evangelist Ted Haggard is said to soon be undergoing the process. What is involved, and how truly effective can it be? Homosexuality is no more a "darkness", a "sin", or a choice than heterosexuality is. Sex between between consenting adults is no "sin". Methamphetamines are used to facilitate gay sex and are very addicting, so his "sin" there is substance abuse. However, hypocricy and lying to himself, his wife and the congregation are Haggard's true "sins".

Isnt the multiplication and therefore the division of cells a difference from what Creation was before it started and would that difference from a point of Creation before any cells existed or even after one cell existed, wouldn't that be the proliferation of difference from the Original One God? Wouldn't that be the original sin? Creation start?

I was in an alcohol program when I was young. The counselor
kept asking if I had any goals. I named about 10 short and
long term goals. And after each one. He said, "That won't keep you sober!" "That won't keep you sober!"
SoI went out and got DRUNK!
I realized later he wanted a programmed response. He wanted me to say my goal was to stay sober!

Men have a penis, women have a vagina. The sperm is intended to meet the ovum. If we are animalistic in nature, our only one goal is to procreate. Why would we go against our design and have men with men, women with women? It is perfectly natural for people to be attracted to the same sex. It is proven that approx 10% of other animals are homosexual. It is proven that homosexual brains are different than heterosexual. does this mean its ok to engage in these activities? If someone was born with cerebral pasly, or spinabifida, or ADHD, would we just say, well they were born that way?

I have seen a question on here just recently about where in the bible it states that homosexuality is a sin/against your god's word. I also saw people quoting Leviticus. Now, in previous questions, Christians have stated that the Old Testament (where Leviticus is from) is pretty much null and void, since it has more old world views on things.

Now, why is ok to use Leviticus as a reason to shun homosexuality, but when people quote things out of the Old Testament to prove hypocracy and error, you say it doesn't count?

Also, in your religion, are you brought up to hate homosexuals and condemn them to hell? Isn't that your god's job? Aren't you supposed to love thy neighbor, regardless of race, sexual orientation, or religious belief?

Finally, is it the religious view that AIDS and HIV were brought on by your god to kill homosexuals? Do you still believe that it is passed through homosexual sex? What is the religious view point on the people who have gotten it else where?

I am under the impression that many Christians no longer follow the laws of the Old Testament because Jesus brought about new laws (New Testament) with made the Old Testament invalid. Is this correct?

k, so I've been thinking lately and I have a few questions about the bible, christianity, and Ghosts. Ive never believed in ghosts but lately im begining to rethink that....First off- does the bible specifically ever say that there are no such things as ghosts? (if it does, where is it at so I can look it up)

Some people think that when we die, thats when your judgement day is.....some people think that theres one judgement day for everyone... so if thats the case...doesnt that mean that both heaven and hell are empty right now?

Also if that is true....then is it possible that ghosts do exist, and theyre just waiting for the judgement day?

I understand if you dont believe in heaven or hell or anything like that but if thats the case then please dont answer my question just to state that you think its a waste of time..if thats your belief then fine..dont waste your time answering.. I just want some answers (or opinions) on what christianity really thinks about ghosts

Quote Ratzinger Pope Benedict speaking about Jesus:
"If we may borrow the language of the theory of evolution, it is the greatest 'mutation,' absolutely the most crucial leap into a totally new dimension that there has ever been in the long history of life and its development.

Now what I am saying is not that there isnt no god, but god is not a form. We already know that god is not something tangible, neither is our spirit. But yet we know this, but try to define god as being some person, or being that sits in the clouds and only rewards his followers. This is wrong that is right. ...What if it didnt make a difference, that the only wrong or right is based on the energy that you attract, and you see from the energy the difference in your life.
and we call it god, because as man we must have a defintion
Just wondering

I am a Christian, However, I don't mind using my own logic and rationality to come to some conclusion. I pray for answers to questions, but to have 'blind faith' is not something I am interested in. I have to study, learn and understand fully. Not just trust a preacher.
