Within what?
If it's the Koran, puhlease! The less said about those "people", the better.
If you mean within yourself, well, what do you think is the that little voice you keep hearing that tells do don't do something, because it's wrong. Or that same little voice that tells you help that poor guy, ... it could have been you there, instead. That's the Voice of God.
How many people do you know who even bother with what their "Religion" says [except for the Muslims who love dashing of mile long quotations from the Koran; and incidentally, not all Muslims are like that; Thank the Good Lord for small mercies] and don't listen to their hearts?
Most of us listen to the Word of God, not to the books.
Insofar as those poor misguided souls that "Believe in the Book" go ... well, God have Mercy upon them!?
Have a nice day.

Noone truly knows who or what God is, but different establishments have used the 'word of God' to control the public, to justify their own heinous actions, and to gain power.
How can a man become Pope/Archbishop of Canterbury/Chief Rabbi without having ambition? Why do they all live in palacial abodes, eat multi-course meals with wine, and travel the world first-class? Is this the 'word of God', does it in any way relate to the examples set by the lives of Moses/Jesus/Mohammed, who all endured poverty, hardship and struggles? I think not.

In the Bible it says that people perish for a lack of knowledge concerning the Word of God. They really don't give it a chance. They are not bad people, or stupid either. They just do not believe. A few of my colleague's are agnostic and they are some of the smartest people I know. We just don't go there when we are eating lunch.

If you were following the true word of God within, you'd be working on following it and not trying to convert others.

Because denominations want to always present themselves as being right and everybody else is wrong, therefore everyone follows doctrine of religion instead of following the mandate of Christ who is the maker of our hearts contents.

Don't you agree, that the message is within, only through our being taught, either through our parents, Sunday school, church, personnel study? Maybe I don't understand your question. I have found, that goodness and mercy are taught to us, they are not a part of human nature.

Because I don't have all the answers. I hear alot of messages inside me. I'm just beginning to trust and read the bible daily. I do know his grace has come to me and I've accepted it. I know nothing about the messages others feel and respond too.
