Yes, but i'm surprised by the anger and angst of some of your answersers. The Devil told the very first lie to Eve when he told her she wouldn't die from eating the fruit.
Jesus was just telling Pharisees and hypocrites that they copy the Devil and thus make him their father.

So do you worship this Father of Liars? Have you ever lied? Who taught you to, your father on earth? A Father is an afterlife delayed energy villian or delayed energy monster that taught you how to dysfunctionally live on earth. Jesus told the pharasees (because he had no compassion for some people like them) that they worshipped "their Fathers the devil". There is a little devil in each of us, even in Jesus when he was short with people. He had a hard time loving everyone. But he said we could do greater than he did if we could see him in heaven. So how is Jesus in heaven different than he was on earth and more functional and loving there? How is anyone you can imagine there?

I was drinking buddies with the old boy for many years. He'll promise you the world and he'll deliver it, until the going gets rough and then you're all alone and that good old boy is no where to be found!

Ah, then there are no liars, because the devil is not real. Hrm. Nope, liars still exist, satan must not be their father.
Besides... even if the devil did exist, wouldn't his pride be the fault of the guy who made him? Thus, wouldn't the guy who made him share at least SOME of the culpability?

Well according to the bible the devil as a creation of god is his son as all things are gods children.
That would make god the grandfather of all liars.
