Capital Punishment is even a controversial issue among Christians. There are so many different dogmas/beliefs.

So you can expect a mixture of responses.

For more accurate answers to this question (since you have asked this before and seem to be looking for something other that what you have been getting, perhaps you would like to re word it be more specific and accurate. (An example: " For those Christians who believe in Capital Punishment, what would you say is the most Christian way to carry it out?")

Personally I do not believe in Capital Punishment.

Christianity is the age of Grace. Capital Punishment is not of it. If it is the law of the land then, people will suffer if they committed crimes (murder) that have the death sentence.

Under Islam people are killed for leaving Islam. Because it is the law of the land under Islam. It is murder, because people leaving a faith aren't guilty of murder themselves.

The death penalty under land law is given because someone mudered someone else. It is life for life.

Stoning is popular. It is generally done in the open public square so all can witness, even participate, in the slow agonizing punishment.

Not a very humane punishment, I must say. But it was a good way to control the masses, which is the primary purpose of religion.

There is no Christian method to do a crime.
Christian is someone trying to follow what Jesus told to do.

a) He stopped stoning a woman (she was guilty in their law)
It means : Don't execute even the guilty.
b) He was executed.

Crucifixion was what the Romans used for the worse of people.

Stoning seemed to be the way most mentioned in the bible.

Chrisitan... the way Christ would handle it...John 8:3-11 3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Stoning is mentioned a lot in the Bible. It's rather cruel, though.

Making you go to church every Sunday, and paying tithes. I think that's punishment enough.
