Well said, sister! :-)

No I do not think that a person has the right to insult you because someone of your religion broke their heart but it is human nature to generalize and look for a "big enemy". The fact of the matter is and always has been that man's biggest enemy is himself.
I would;t take it too seriously if they can't manage their own damage then they honestly aren't worth the emotion that you are investing into them.
Have a nice day.

Of course not. No one has a right to insult you at random for any reason. If you are even asking this question it seems you need to work a little on your self-love.
You are a unique person, not designated to particular treatement because of ANY group you fit into, be that a religion, a gender, your appearance or your IQ. You have a right to be judged just for being you. Always.

For someone who blames Muslims in general for the loss of someone they love or for an act that was hurtful to them in a general way, their emotions are over-riding their logic and rationality. It is hurtful to you as a Muslim to be condemned when you had nothing to do with the event but I suppose the person acting this way toward you is either not too intelligent or hurts more than you can know.

No. It's not right to insult anyone. Someone could say something that could be taken the wrong way, but unless they were TRYING to offend someone, it's not a problem. It's one thing to say "I can't stand the Musilm terrorists" it's another to say "Muslims are terrorists".

For some reason, on the internet, all standards of civility, decency, and spelling/grammar are abandoned.
HOORAY FOR THAR INTARWEBS!!
People have the RIGHT to insult anyone at random... but that doesn't make it ethical.

I agree with Soticoto, in the basis and certain respects. However; don't be insulted. Respond, and always counter their arguments, with a better one. This will usually works, as long as your arguments have a veracity. If not , u will flounder.

What you class as an insult may well be just fair comment in others eyes. Freedom of speech shall not be abridged!

No. This is how being prejudice starts. It's a bad trend that they should try to stop doing. If you are a victim of it, ignore them. They're immature and you don't deseve to be subject to that.
