something good to happen for someone else, who would it be and what would it be for? I would ask for peaches little boy to healed, for zenbuddha to find someone to love him,....I would have to many wishes to ask for but so many of you here make my heart hurt for you that I wish I could fix all things for all of you...no matter what your religion or lack thereof. Who does your heart hurt for?

Even those of you who are rude to me seem like family..everyone has at least one member of their family that rubs them the wrong way (some more than one LOL). i love you guys and I love this forum. I love the diversity and the silly bickering and banter here.

Cain was the first man to rebel against God. The Pagan cross Which was an X. God also protected Him that symbol is a circle. the pagan cross with a circle around it. God protected Cain from being killed which was Gods Grace held out to Cain so Cain had his whole life to repent. He never repented remained a pagan and worshiped the God of this world (satan). Some say it was dark skin (which is very incorrect) this thought is from a pagan source itself whom also worship the god of this world. Fell free to answer what you think the mark of Cain is.

it is against God to take medications for depression and anxiety? If so, why? Do you believe God should handle all of your problems and you should never use medications as a crutch? Do you look down on people who have these kinds of problems?

I am an Atheist. I will be voting later today. My voting place is in a local church. I can get by that, but......in order to get to the polls there is an open bible you have to walk past. The only way in and out. Is this really OK? I have inquired in the past and was told this was the only place to vote and no one would address the issue. Should the book be moved or covered? I do not want to vote absentee, as I do not think they are really counted. No smart a** answers please. Thank you.

I used to have doubts that this was even possible. I'm still not so sure. But I joined a spiritual order about three weeks ago and it has changed my life in a way that church never has. I still believe in God and Jesus and won't ever stop.

But this other thing I'm doing is just so incredible! And when I talked this over with my Master he explained that I may practice this and believe in any faith that I wish too as it is my personal choice as well as Divine Right.

What do you all think about this? I really would like some input here. I think it would help me to reconcile myself with this better if I heard multiple points of view. And give details...I have had enough cryptic comments and one liners or people who only want to get their 2 points. This is serious to me.

Seriously, with all of the recent religious sex scandals coming out it does not seem safe for children or adults. I am not a Christian, however, and even I think this is becoming far too common for something that should never happen at all. This is not really intended to offend anyone.

There's a lot of association with Coca Cola, Santa Claus (Saint Nick) and Lucifer. Apparently the name 'Saint Nick' is derived from the British saying 'Old Nick' which is one of the names of the devil and the coke bottle itself represents the curves of a woluptuous woman. Can anyone shed some more light on this or tell me of any websites I can find the symbolic information? As a christian I'm curious about what this is all about as a christian friend of mine mentioned this to me and I want to find out more.

Now I'm not saying I'm better or more moral than anyone else. I'm not saying I never sin. But nonbelievers criticise the church for allowing hypocrisy and corruption to run rampant. And rightly so.
How is church leadership supposed to deal with church staff/teachers/etc who hurt people and provide bad examples?
Nonbelievers are welcome to answer, like always. But some of the negative people on here who answer everything with "God is a fairy tale" that's not what I'm looking for.

Any "so called groupof faith" that is centered about or around one person?

(By that I do not mean Prophet Muhammed or prophet Jesus (PBUT), at all I mean [people that are alive RIGHT NOW] and stealing from the poor by taking advantage of them using religion)

I mean a bigger problem, I am talking about the people that say I follow the religion follow me and then end-up in Jail? I am sad because I know many people including all groups, not only the Muslims, the Jews and teh Christians have been taken advantage of BY CHARLATANS LIKE THIS?

What can we do to spot this people right away?
