I will, Miss Texas. I had planned to be there when the polls opened, but my younger daughter wants to go with me, so I'm waiting 'til school lets out.
BTW, good morning:-)

My guess is that less than 50% of the people on here are eligible to vote in the US elections today. Many are under the age of 18, and many are living outside the US.
As to me, I have already voted with an absentee ballot.
I voted for change.

Just got done an hour ago.
Not that it will make much difference in my state this year, since the party opposite of mine will win most of the major offices this year.
Had to make my voice heard anyway though, it would be un-American not to.

I have---just as I have for the past 24 years. My parents taught me through words and example to see voting as both a privilege and a responsibility. Sometimes my choices win, sometimes they lose. Such is life. I try to take care of my little corner of the world....and I hope that everyone else is trying to do the same.

No-------Christians today must remain neutral and not get involved with politics in any way, shape or form. We must not put our trust in human rulers.(Psalms 146:3)
If we vote for any imperfect human, then we are showing disloyalty to our King, who now reigns in heaven. Our allegiance is to our righteous King, and his Father's heavenly government only. The Bible says that man was not meant to rule over man.
( Ecclesiastes 8:9 )
We must obey the laws of governments as long as they do not conflict with God's laws. We maintain the same position as Jesus' apostles: "But Peter and the apostles answered and said, We must obey God rather than men." (Acts 5:29)
Human governments will soon be put out of existance and will be replaced by God's government which will rule over the entire earth. When you say the Lord's prayer and ask for God's Kingdom to come, that is what you are praying for.
The new government will last forever as seen at Daniel 2:44--"
"And in the days of these kings(current human rulers) the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever."
Christians should not put their trust or confidence in political governments or rulers that God will soon overthrow. We need to look to God's Kingdom as the only hope for all mankind.
Never must we choose anyone to rule over us other than the only one in power who can get rid of sickness, old age, imperfection, terrorism and even death itself, and that is Christ Jesus our King.

Yep. My parents are pollworkers, so I'm getting ready to run lunch over to them in about an hour and I'll vote then.

Nope. Sorry. Most of the politicians running are just mud-slinging and I am tired of it all. Just not up today to picking the lesser of two evils.
