Ok lets think about this. Knowledge of ourselves knowing good and bad is a sin, and that to live of this world is a sin, which therefore makes man sinners. Now god knew that we would have many questions? And he aslo knew that those questions would have to be proven. Now if your a child as we all are what you accept is what you can see taste, and touch. If you had no parents to touch, and see, then how do you know they are there.
Because they say they are. But who answers the questions that you have as a child, usually it is the one who makes themselves known that you call your father or mother. So if god knows that this is the nature of man, then why would he not show himself?
Or does he show himself through us? Or is that he's a prankster, and we are his amusement? Just wondering

I was told that the rich man "opened his eyes" on the second resurrection. The first resurrection is said to be of the saved so that Christ can take them away. Then Christ returns 1000 years later with the saved and the unsaved are resurrected. So I was told that if there was going to be a dialogue between the saved and the lost, they would have to resurrected from the grave. To suuport this, the verse after the parable is cited:
Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

First of all Christians claim that:
1- Jesus was completely human and completely God
2- The one who was performing miracles (like healing) was Jesus the God not Jesus the man
3- all people in his time knew that he was God and worshiped him.

Based on these three facts... how can you explain this:

A woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, have mercy on me, O Lord, [thou] Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

Jesus answered, I am not SENT but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Isn't that a clear proof that Jesus was just a man performing miracles by the power of God Just like all other prophets?

(note the he replied saying I was not sent, he was talking a man here)

doesn't that mean that all xtians involved in politics aren't 'real' xtians? Doesn't that make them hypocrites/liars? Which verse is that? And why don't all xtians follow it?

Does this also mean 'real' xtians can't vote?

For lots of reasons I find that it just rankles me a whole lot that the majority of voting stations where I live are inside of churches. They are not in synagogues or mosques...or even in the public libraries or schools...but in "Christian" churches. Does this bother anyone else, or am I in the minority?

Jimmy Swaggart....Jim Baker....Ernest Angly....Jesse Jackson....pedophile priests....now Ted Haggard....when will the hypocrisy stop? When will the scandals stop? Ted Haggard: "I am a deceiver and a liar, etc. etc. etc.". "An overflow crowd APPLAUDED after Haggard's statement was read....(in the church from which he was fired). They APPLAUDED?!?! Stockstill: "....the week's events were an opportunity to help the nation.I believe America need's a shaking spiritually......" Haggard screws up royally and America needs a shaking spiritually---that's rich. This is called "spin" folks. You know what this means, don't you? In a few months, Haggard will have his own tv show and rake in the millions. I'd say that religion is the devil's playground, except that there is no such thing as the devil. And good old Ted will be there with all the aforementioned singing "when the roll is called up yonder I'll be there". They actually APPLAUDED! HA! When will you religious types ever learn?

the real deal is that from what i read that he confessed it to the congregation and they fired him - my question is would you forgive him and demote him to layman or would you fire him and ban him from the church altogether? what is the morale action that would be what jesus would do.?

Compare this to: Ecclesiastes 9:5:
The living are conscious that death will come to them, but the dead are not conscious of anything, and they no longer have a reward, because there is no memory of them.

How can people go anywhere after death? If they did, then wouldn't it be some kind of joke that Jesus is going to return and put us into new bodies? THen what do we have physical brains for? Where does the bible support reincarnation? Getting new bodies are a recreation of our bodies, not an incarnation. And bout ghosts...If you go to heaven or hell, how are they here on Earth? Couldn't they just be frigment of our imagination that demons have puppeteered into reality?

If man had nothing to look to to give them reason to be better, would they be better. Is it that some know to be better, because they have nothing to compete with? And if man competes with others, does that mean he competes with himself to be better like god? just wondering

Whenever I'm around someone or with someone, my body picks up vibes. For instance, I can be around someone and sense they are tense or sense that they may or may not like me. I can sense when someoneone is feeling uneasy, angry, happy, etc. Sometimes the silent emotions are so strong it makes me uncomfortable. Does anyone else ever experience this? It's like I can actually FEEL the emotions that they are feeling.
