dear idol pujari, it was not my question that was removed but another person's. i was attempting to answer it. i actually wrote that i did not care about anything that was written in the holy books of any religion. what on earth makes you think i am hindu. by the way, you generally come across a real charmer.

i have just reported myself for abuse, even though i am not committing any kind of abuse. we have every right to question whatever or whoever we like.

interesting that 4 respondent's have tried to justify the prophet or deny our right to question and suddenly every answer suporting our right to question get's at least one thumbs down. all i wanted to say was i don't care about your or anyone else's religious figures. i still can't get the question removed. i may have to do it myself.

The prophet was a man. Muslims believe he had a message from God. At times, his life did not always reflect God's message. Muslims are quite sensitive about his vulnerability and get very upset if a non-muslim makes a personal attack against the prophet.
The prophet lived a long time ago. Questioning his morality now does not serve any purpose other than to insult Islam.

Interesting link, I was answering the same question as well when it was taken off.
There is nothing wrong with asking questions for whatever but I think some people will find certain questions offensive and some people will take it with a pinch of salt.
I'm not a Muslim but picking out things in peoples religions is the fastest way to cause offence as each person interprets it differently.

You should be allowed to question or discus any topic or religion but some people try to pressure us into not doing so , I am pretty sure if you down graded the pope in Italy you would have some trouble

from a society where Porn movies and sexual freedom is legal, i can understand where your mind goes. NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT SEX
this girl that a prophet Muhammad married young is the 1st scholar woman in Islam. she was more as a student than a wife. after Muhammad death, she recorded almost 25% of his words and teaching, Muhammad was a shy man, he couldn't answer women questions, so he used to give them to Aisha. this girl has helped to carry the message of Islam to the next generation, Muhammad was old and so is his followers, there must be trusted people who were very close to prophet Muhammad to carry the message of Islam. Aisha was the important one, scholars, women and men gathered around her to learn from her knowledge and wisdom.
2nd, the reason we have believed in this religion is because we worship one God, we submit to God alone. and that's all i want to know.
3, God does not care about the age. and search for how many prophets had more than one wife, and that never stop them from being a prophet.
peace

Firstly, you don't judje people of past times with today's standards.
Secondly, prophets are the people who sat ethics and morals & questioning their morals is offensive to their followers.
Thirdly, who we are to question prophets morals
Fourthly, even if you're an atheists & you don't believe in God & God's messengers, you should at least respect our beliefs if you don't respect God & God's messengers.
Peace be upon Muhammed, Jesus, Moses, Abraham, and all God's prophets & angels.

I don't believe in taboos. I think people should have the right to put forward topics and discuss them. This is the 21st century, not the medival times!

There is nothing wrong in it whatsoever...but we all know that certain factions cannot bear questions that appear to criticise their beloved Mohammad, even though they are not actually criticising him in the least...
