I am a believer in God. I believe that God is Love. God is the power of love and all good things - and all of those things are available to me to use here in my human form. I don't know what will happen after this life here on earth, but I try to stay in the moment and just be a good person. My behavior has nothing to do with eternal life - it has to do with here and now. And I don't really worship God - I just work with It. I don't think God wants us acting out of fear. I don't believe in Hell. Anybody who is "being good" just so they don't go to Hell or just so they can have eternal life - doesn't get it - in my opinion. Each thought and action has its own reward or consequence - and we are the one's in charge of them.

That's like asking if whether or not you chose to be born. Eternal life is just a given as we are eternal beings. It's where we choose to live that eternal life that is in question.

So I guess then your question moves to if we are finite beings, then would I still worship God who created me? The answer if of course yes, as His love for me is still apparent and unchanging.

As a Christian my entire faith is based on the fact that Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, walked this earth, died, was buried & rose from the dead on the third day. No other religious figure has made the claim to be God & come back from the dead. This event is what Christians base their salvation (being saved from eternal damnation in hell) on. It is a promise for eternal life for those who believe - so the promise is based on events that took place.

I believe in God and afford Him my highest respect, He doesn't need worship, He already has everything. I'm sure He would rather see us humans spending our time being constructive. I'm not so sure about that eternal life thing anyway. If it's real, my Good God will give it to me and hopefully everyone anyway.

I believe in God and I don't believe God promised me anything at all. What the heck would God owe me? Hey, we could be Heros; just for one day, We could beat them forever and ever; and still at the end; all is dust; nothing will keep us together; so enjoy it now; because soon; we'll be much older; and then comes the nothing or the something!

Yes because i would rather be in the hands of my God than my enemy something to think about, but there no question in my mind I would still praise and worship the Lord.

I'd worship Him if he didn't promise me with anything. It's enough for me that He created me, and that He is so Mercy upon me. I'd worship Him because He is the reason I'm alive.

I think you should take harder look at your life.

Good luck.

...Your question is irrelevant and hypothetical. What can you possibly gain from it?
...1 John 2:25 says, "This is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life."
...Romans 11:29 says, "The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable."
...God said it, that settles it, and I believe it.
