- playing hard to reach ............ burst into tears when alone
- trying to prove my point ............. in fact gullible
- trying to stick to who i am ............... easily influenced
- dress up to seek for a compliment ..... thanks is not in my vocabulary
- preach honesty .................... have a few dark secrets
- tell ppl on YA that i love them ............... never said ''i love u'' to anyone in real life
oh man, i could go on like this for ages ............. my public persona and my real me r sooooooooooo contradictory
but i kinda function .......... don't i? hehe
EDIT: and i think it's hypocritical to say that we're same as we appear to be - that would make us perfect and we're not

I'm the same. Just my opinion, but I question whether or not I would want to know what some people are like under their layers if they have a reason to hide. Although I guess it is better to know the truth then to leave it in the dark.

a little innocent, scared, emotional gal who needs her family. In the public persona I'm independant and strong...relying on no one. The only person who I am myself with is my brother, cuz he's the one who looks after me whereas I look after everyone else.

I'm a little hippie, a little rock and roll, I have a wicked sense of humor and like watching war movies. I am a little crazy and can get overly emotional. Actually my mask is pretty thin, most people who really know me know all these things. It's the aquaintances that don't get to see "beyond the mask".

That is just such an important quetion! The way to find out is to learn to meditate and do it regularly for some years. When you find the answer you will be amazed. Good luck.

I am who I am, and it has taken me a long time to be comfortable in my own skin. I am not afraid to say who I am, and what I am about, and the horrors I have gone through to be here. There is nothing to prove for my public, only to proove for myself.

I was once told that your character can be defined by the way you behave when you think no one is looking... or maybe as it applies to this forum, when you think no one knows who you are.
