i'm a muslim living in europe and i haven't had contact with christian missionaries till recently. two men came to my door to give me a copy of new testament ...... and i accepted it out of respect. but then i heard the comments made by my neighbours, judging them and accusing them of trying to convert us - so i felt kinda lost whether i did the right thing or not. i mean, it's not as if i'll convert by accepting a written word, right? Qur'an is my guide and light - but i'm a bit puzzled if i did right or wrong. what would u do if they came to ur door, please?

John 21:22 "Jesus when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, recieve you the Holy Ghost."

yet muslims say that the Holy Ghost who is also called the Rosh Hakodesh the spirit of Holiness in the Jewish scriptures-also called the comforter too in John 14&16th chapters-who will be in you-they say its talking about Mohamad-do you agree?

Would you or do you use belonging to a social organization as a stepping stone to get power, privilidge and prestige, like a higher paying job etc, even if you know that the way it works is that you have to hurt good talented conscientious people to do it? If you woke up one day realizing that you had trampled good people to get where you are, would you have the least bit guilt about it? I am speaking of organizations like religious groups and creed organizations. Should good people who do their jobs every day and who disagree with some of your religious dogma that you either have been brainwashed into or that you belonged to because your family always did or that you used to get your way.....should good people suffer for that.....? or do you think if they want to get ahead they should become hypocritical and join in the good people bashing either intentional or not and do you justify it that way? And is there anybody who is naive enough to think that this does not go on?

i have just been on a couple of questions... relating to God, or other religion...

it seems to me that every person that has an objection, has been given thumbs downs... even if the answer is a valid one...

i.e creation... one went as far as to state EVOLUTION... which in my book is correct... there is more chance of an Alien bringing the first men and women here... than the statement in the bible of Adam and Eve...

i believe in EVOLUTION... and not some ancient form of Policing the world peoples...

I find religion very intollerant of other peoples feelings... this is confirmed by reading some of your answers!

Why is it religious people cannot get there head round the fact... there are people on this planet, that really do not give a boo wether you are Muslim , Christian, jew, or atheist?

it baffles the heck out of me! especially when religion is responsible for many, many, wars and persecution!

When I do something to hurt someone elce and take the responsibility of the act and admit it and apologize, the other person can forgive me and if someone hurts me, and takes the responsibility and apologizes than I can forgive and forget, but its hard to forgive and forget if someone plays the blame game or hides from the truth, why is it so hard to tell the truth and accept responsibilities for our own actions? I have found out when people don't accept responsibilities for their own actions it leaves a void in relationships.
