well they all seem to be a bit schizophrenic. Look up schizophrenia on google and read about it, and tell me what you think?

Jesus fits the bill perfectly!

Divinely guided - as in hearing and seeing delusions, hearing voices, believing there somehow amazingly great or important, and distorted thinking? Honestly convinced themselves of what there saying?
That seems like a text book case of skitsophreenia, and just because someone has it doesn’t mean there less sane than you or me if that word can be used.

I'm a 56 year old man who was diagnosed with bipolar type 2 recently. Six years ago, I had a mind blowing out-of-body experience where I felt one with God, even though I'm an atheist.
I discovered that these experiences are common for people with bipolar or schizophrenia.
In the times of Moses, Abraham, Jesus, Mohammed, etc. we didn't understand the brain the way we do today.

No. If Moses replaced into schizophrenic he particular did no longer have a annoying time predicting those plagues. If he replaced into schizophrenic i do no longer see how that makes a stick grow to be a snake or how that makes him able to section the sea. Use your head why do no longer you?

Jesus and Moses were Prophets and divinely guided. They didn't sin because they followed what God/Allah "told" them to do. Now Joan of Ark... who knows. Poor girl. A highly doubt a schizo could lead all those people and still manage to keep sane.

This was rather blasphemous ya know....

yeah- i think its safe to say that all of these people would be considered mentally ill by today's standards. they would probably be treated under mental health laws due to their apparent lack of insight.

Technically wouldn't everyone that has "visions" be considered schizophrenic?
