No, its always the individuals choice. Satan is real and yes, he does do a great job in tempting you. But, in the end, you choose to sin or not. On judgement day, we will all see Satan there, accusing us of all the sins we have committed. Then, you will have no doubts that he is real.

No-one can make anyone do anything. Not God. Not the Devil. Not another human being. We have free will, and can choose or reject any behavior. Which is why we are fully responsible for the results of any behavior we choose. The Devil can tempt us. He can lie to us. But he has no power to override our will.

If the devil is a creation of man to use as an excuse for their own actions. Make people do...No! Their made up excuse for their actions...Absolutely!
If you don't believe in the devil, he believes in you!!!
Keep that excuse and "out" for YOUR actions always at the ready! You are not at fault! Not ever!
Yeah Right!

Satan as he is known, is too a fictional character made up by the Christians as an excuse for when they stray off their religious path and do bad things.

In actuality, Satan does not exist. Evil lies in the heart of every human being. It is our choice not to allow this to come forth and manifest into action.

So, in answer, the Devil does not make you do anything. It is your conscious choice to take thought into action. Evil cannot exist unless you allow to it come forth in your own persona. The Devil doesn't kill people, and neither do guns. People who allow the hatred and anger inside of them to come forth, kill people. The Devil is a simple excuse used to justify a person who is full of hatred, anger or simply weak in character.

People used to use that excuse so much it became a joke.
But I ask you. Have you ever been in an argument, and said
something that made it 10 times worse. And asked yourself,
"Why did I say that?"
Do you think there are outside influneces that can hurt us?
I do.

He can offer temptaions and false imagery or promises but he cannot make you do anything as he is bound by freewill too. And God does not give him the power to any more than try you and tempt you.

He doesn't make people do anything. He, however, will tempt you to do things that you know you shouldn't do. This is where God comes in. You pray for guidance and strength against temptation and God will help you through it. :)
