I wonder... I see all the time people saying "I won't go to church because of all the hypocrites" but is that a reason or an excuse? If you have FAITH.. Not just believing that someone exists but a real trust in someone to be who they say they are and do what they say they will do.. That kind of faith I don't believe can be lost as long as the person you have faith in doesn't violate that trust. In the case of Christ He is faithful and true and doesn't violate trust so No that faith can't be lost because of the actions of anyone.. Jim

Everyone is responsible for their own choices. So technically, it is the choices each indivdual makes that decides his/her faith. However, we are not living in a bubble. Everything we do has great effect on others. How we influence others in our ways effects others. God warns us about not making others stumble. If we are a Christian, we realize that we are held accountable of how we interact with others. Our duty is to love one another. Our duty is to represent Christ. WE should make a stand against sin and not tolerate it. WE must still love the sinners, but hate their sins. So, we can influence others and have an influence on others loosing faith...but when it comes right down to it...faith is our own personal relationship and walk with God. God will deal with each person, based on their deeds.

Yes...Try going to Iraq. You'll see the pain and devastation and ask yourself if God is there. You'll ask yourself; If God really has a plan, what does this say about him(or her)?
War is one of those things that can shake any ones faith.

Yes God gives us tests to make us stronger in him and sometimes it is just the devil trying to get his way and tempt you into believing that God doesn't exist, and if he does why would he let this happen to you? The devil uses things like that to turn us from God.Stay strong my fellow believer! Stay strong!

Of course, many things, rape, family being murdered in front of your eyes, seeing 9/11, etc.
But then again you have to have faith..to get by and through those times.
