There are so many different versions and interpretations even between the same religion - never mind between different ones, so can we agree that those who are religious or worship god merely BELIEVE that they are correct in their convictions, rather than proposing that they KNOW. Surely two people with different beliefs can't both 'know'.

when in 7 states atheists are not allowed to hold public office nor be a witness in court.

Is it a case of freedom of religion as long as you have a religion

In the United States, some State Constitutions require a religious test as a qualification for holding public office. For instance The Bill of Rights of the Texas Constitution provides that an official may be "excluded from holding office" if he does not "acknowledge the existence of a Supreme Being." Similarly, North Carolina, South Carolina & Tennessee all have mandatory disqualifications in their State Constitutions from public office for those who deny God

the Temple incident, is this accurate, according to the Bible:
In the Temple incident Jesus and his disciples go to the temple and found people were buying and selling goods in his temple which was a place to serve to oppress the poor. Jesus overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, out of anger that his place for prayer and to serve those in need is a “den of thieves”.
Is that correct?

Allah is the moon god of Arabian Pagan worship. Thus it is a sin to kneel to Allah. Interestingly, not many Muslims want to accept that Allah was already being worshipped at the Ka'ba in Mecca by Arab pagans before Muhammad came. Some Muslims become angry when they are confronted with this fact. But history is not on their side."But history establishes beyond the shadow of doubt that even the pagan Arabs, before Muhammad’s time, knew their chief god by the name of Allah and even, in a sense, proclaimed his unity...Among the pagan Arabs this term denoted the chief god of their pantheon, the Kaaba, with its three hundred and sixty idols."

........ states otherwise. Let us not forget that this treaty was written not long after the founding of the US nation when many of the main players in the founding of the nation were still in power.

Art. 11. As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.

The mottos "In God we Trust" on coins came in 1861 after an appeal by Rev. M. R. Watkinson, Minister of the Gospel from Ridleyville

The "under God" phrase was added to the pledge in 1954 after a campaign by the Catholic fraternal society the Knights of Columbus.

Could someone who approves of female "circumcision" please explain "WHY?" to those of us who don't understand?
I just read on CNN the story of the man in Georgia, USA who has been convicted of using a scissors to cut of his daughter's clitoris when she was two. The story says that the practice "transends religion". Please tell me what kind of conditioning could make a man do such a vile thing to a baby.
