If not then your freewill is limited at best. A man who feels loved would not be so insecure as to commit horrible atrocities.

I'm curious. When this movie came out, it drove christians crazy. They tried banning it and forcing their congregations to stay away. All the attention that church leaders gave it created such hysteria that it became one of the highest grossing movies that year. And, it was well made...

I thought it was kinda funny, though. If the christian cult is so strong, why would something like this threaten it? Low self-esteem?

It was pretty clear that the story is fiction, based on an even larger fiction (the bible). We know the bible was edited and compiled in 325-AD by a Pagan Roman Emperor named Constantine for political purposes -- basic history tells us that. Constantine's Council of Nicaea even authored parts of the bible, and threw out over 200 books of the bible... So, we know it's incomplete, false, and a work of fiction, compiled by a Pagan (of all things!) --

So, why get your panties in a big wad over it?

There are obvious answers to God's will in the Bible, but what about times where the Bible is not clear...for example, some people wonder what God's will is concerning a relationship, or whether they should move cross country for a job. How do you know this when you might not get a clear answer from God? How can you do the thing that is the right thing with limited direction? Sometimes even wisdom doesn't help in these situations, because they can still turn out wrong. What gives?

Some of you doubt my sincerety. I am NOT offering to teach anything myself, just to show people where to go to get the help. I can direct folks to Witchvox, or Mystic Wicks, etc. I just have a network of Pagan/Wiccan groups to share with people, that's all. In the Correllian Tradition, the one I am a member of, they don't insist the students find a teacher and ask 3 times. How would someone way out in the mountains ever find one? This is the help I am offering. If someone tells me what kind if Wicca they are interested in, I will just help them find info on how to get started in that Path, that's all. It is hard for some who don't know where to find info to start down a Pagan path, when folks are threatening, and conflicting them with ideas. Again< I am NOT teaching myself, just providing info on finding Teachers of whatever Tradition they are looking for.

I have lived in the south for many years. At age 4 I was introduced to the idea that giving a Yankee a flat is a good thing to do. I watch today after traveling extensively as my neighbors talk and plot about how to make those yanks pay. We vote as a bloc not for what is good for the country but against the Yanks. No end to plot talking in some circles about exactly this. I had a yank friend who had been finding his tires flat and then he died in an accident from losing control and it hits me this is a christian problem. Bush is in office for a second term and a large part of it is this plotting and lack of forgiveness. It is never preached but we all know it is here. Try and talk about it and then u r a trouble maker. I WANT TO KNOW SOUTHERN CHRISTIANS ARE YOU AWARE YOUR HATE AND UNFORGIVENESS IS HAVING A VERY NEGATIVE AFFECT ON THE WORLD SO ARE YOU TOO PROUD OR CAN YOU FORGIVE??

Seems kind of gay of Him to ignore the greater good and let more people suffer.

My sister married a man, and found out 6 months later, he was a pedophile and an abusive, contolling husband. She left him, but found out she was pregnant. She wanted an abortion because her husband's (juvenile) record had be expunged, so the court granting custody would not know he was a pedophile.

She knew that he was still a sexual predator based on their sex life and the way he talked about women and children. If she had had his baby, he would have had unlimited access to the child and had power over her life to this day. Her life and the child's life would be hell, and the child would have grown up with so many problems because of the sexual abuse.

Do you think god would condemn her for protecting herself and the child? Or do you really think that god (should he/she/it exist) sees the world in black and white, missing all the greys?

A warlock is NOT the term for a male Witch. Witch is. A Witch can be male or female. A warlock is an oath breaker, liar, one who turns against his own. A Bad person. Please do not use the term Warlock to refer to Male Witches. We prefer WITCH. Thanks, and

I dont understand how anyone can dismiss the possibility of there being some kind of higher power as we have no information to dismiss or support it. I do understand how we can dismiss things such as resurrection, ghosts, or miracles as there is zero evidence to support such claims.
