I do believe you mean WMD's. Moslems don't eat bacon...you will never find a BLT in Iraq.

I don't believe his punishment is anywhere near harsh enough. If anything, that's just a slap on the wrist. What about the punishment for the rest of his crimes that he is not receiving? The hanging sentence is only for 148 deaths in 1982, not the other torture and deaths of hundreds of thousands of people over a course of many years that he was responsible for even if his armies did the dirty work for him under his command.

I do not believe in the death penalty. However, I think that Saddam was a very evil man and deserves punishment. Our being in Iraq does not change the fact that this monster killed his own people with poison gas, set up torture chambers, gave money to suicide bombers families as incentive ... the list goes on.

First off I think you meant WMD's secondly I could lie to you and stand behind Pres. Buck Fush but I'll take the religious route and quote the bible "Judge not Least ye Be Judged" people need to realize that there is no differentiation between little and big sin, its just sin so if you lie to your mom or kill your teacher you still sinned so how can we say we have a right to kill another human being because he did it. Yeah don't get me wrong he deserves to be punished for his atrocities but eye foe an eye is not the same as Life for a Life. you can do without an eye but taking a person out of her is totally out of the question who are we to Judge this man.

Morally it's the only just punishment but I hope his execution doesn't get highlighted to mask the fact that invading Iraq has been an unmitigated disaster from start to finish.

He killed people that were going to try to overthrow him. Same thing would happen in the USA. He was the president. What is the problem? Torture? We can do that in the USA now too.

(note: there are other things he is being tried for, this verdict is only for the 148 dissenters he killed)

You mean the hamburgers you find at McDonalds, or the thousands of people that butcher slaughtered? Can you clear up my confusion regarding this, cause we found plenty of the latter. Do you know what "the latter" means? or do I need to come back and spell it out for you?

Ask the families of the Kurds and others that he had slaughtered and lets see what they think of His death sentence.

They should torture him before he hangs!!!

As a Muslim, I believe that the punishment should NOT be done by us humans but from God Almighty. It is God's duty to punish and bless his creations. (NO I am not taking his side....)
