He claims Jesus came to him and touched him. Now he has set up his own church. In this clip Jesus touches th people through him and they pass out.

I'm studying Theology in college and I have to say I am a little sceptical.

Just wondering what you all think.

I pray and I meditate but it doesn't seem to be enough. I always seem to get sucked back in to the old me which I have tried to get rid of so many times. What can I do to feel clean and once and for all not get wrapped into what I know is sinful and wrong? I need alittle help.. It's hard because of the impulse problem I have.

Ezek.18

1:Thus the word of the LORD came to me: Son of man, 2"(A)What do you mean by using this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying,
'(B)The fathers eat the sour grapes,
But the children's teeth are set on edge'? (New American Bible)

1:The word of the LORD came to me:2 "What do you people mean by quoting this proverb about the land of Israel:
" 'The fathers eat sour grapes,
and the children's teeth are set on edge'? (NIV)

1The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,
2What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge? (KJV)

Why doesn't the othe 2 have "Son of man" in the first verse?Does this have something to do wit Jesus, who also called himself "Son of man"?

Loads of publishing houses are making a healthy profit by printing and selling bibles.
Are the texts contained within royalty free, meaning anyone can use them to earn a living, or do the publishers have to pay someone to use the texts?

Or What are your favorite Scriptures?

Mine is Psalm 23:4: Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

I also like Proverbs 17:27

I asked a question about whether it was time for the non religious to get more organised to have stronger voice. One answer I got was :

"LOL. how much more of a voice to do want? America is currently plagued with homosexuality, abortion, promiscuity, provocative dress styles.... shall I go on? Seems to me that Satan's voice is being heard loud and clear in America and really across the world."

gueroes

Why the need for this nastiness. i am non religious and would never be as nasty as this to somebody.

BTW I personally have nothing against homosexuals but the person quoted obviously has.

Personally i try to be good not out fear of punishment nor hope of reward but out of common sense, decency, empathy and education.

Does this really make me a bad person ?

Ok, ok, will the real Charlie Crist please stand up ?
I know nothing about this guy and tired of hear say.
What is the truth about Charlie Crist ?
What are in fact his issues? I want factual proof and back up, not accusations to answer these questions.
Dose anyone know what Church he belongs too ?
Dose he in fact support Israel ?
What about Affermative Action ?
Dose he see people as people no matter what color, race, religion, or what ever, or is he a bigott in sheeps clothes ?
I want facts, facts, no accusations..
Please, Florida people only.
Thanks..
I know I may get a million and one answers here, but come on, I live in this state and love it.
What is the truth ?

................well this highly complex designer is far to complex and perfect to just exist and must have been designed himself (according to intelligent design logic )

So who designed the designer.

to say "he always existed" goes against the theory of intelligent design itself.

The non religious / atheist / secular group is much larger than many other groups . Isn't it time these people got organised began to speak with one stronger voice.

Here are the worldwide stats

Christianity: 2.1 billion

Islam: 1.3 billion

Secular/Nonreligious/Agnostic/Atheist: 1.1 billion

Hinduism: 900 million

Chinese traditional religion: 394 million

Buddhism: 376 million

primal-indigenous: 300 million

African Traditional & Diasporic: 100 million

Sikhism: 23 million

Juche: 19 million

Spiritism: 15 million

Judaism: 14 million

Baha'i: 7 million

in the US for example this grouping represents 14.1 % of the population much more than say Judaism and Islam yet exerts much less political influece than these 2 groups.

Wasn't it Bush senior who said atheists shouldn't be even considered citizens or patriots.

Should Christians be placing the same importance on the accurate teaching of something like the Great Flood, as is placed on Armageddon, or are the small details unimportant in the overall scheme of things?

Watching a program on the History Channel, they showed how it has been established that it had to be a box, not a boat, as in the shape of a boat, it would have rolled over without tones of ballast (rocks) taking up room in the hole. The shape of a boat came from Sumerian myth of Ziusudra, as well as other sources. A box would have floated level and without rocking, which would have made for a lot of very sick animals.

Is it important to be teaching our children that the Ark was a box, and not a boat, or is it one of those little things in the Bible that is not especially important?
