a muslam claric came on tv the other day on the BBC, and said "if a muslam woman , dosent ware a burka, they risk being raped" that men might lose control.

do middel eastern men have that littel control over ther sexuality, that a sight of a of a un burked woman , would drive them to a criminal act?

Excellent question, wonder why they never thought of it themselves. Why do they need their women to be fully clothed from head to toe in burqa ?

Never heard that and seems strange. Something I was reading about Islam that seemed rather odd to me is in the book Not Without My Daughter, where a woman marries an Iranian and then is taken to Iran where she is held prisoner by her own husband and his family, the author who was very famous at the time it was written mentions that the only required outfit for a woman is her head and face coverings (sorry I don't know the technical terms). But yet she mentioned they have no problem whatsoever displaying a woman naked from the neck down giving birth for example. I thought this was very odd and almost hypocritical as to why the head was so important to be hidden but any other body part can be exposed.

Western world boasts the highest rate of rape in the whole world. Paticularly non muslim countries. In Us alone, 1 rape takes place every seconds.

Facts speak for themselves. The muslim cleric indeed used wrong word phrasing. However, the pardah is prescribed for women in Islam so that they are protected.

Do some research on your own country dude. It is you people who like rape every 35 seconds, not us muslims, and its mainly because your women walk around almost naked inciting sexual desire among you
