ok so some so called Muslims, )which i call muslim by names, because thats what they r) commited a big crime, namely 9/11 and other attrositites, why dont people who r wrongfully accusing and generalising a whole religion a beautiful religion through the actions of a select few. i have noticed that most of these comments r coming from christains( i.e, jesus loves u comments)
doesnt ur religion teach u "love" and "if someone slaps u turn to him ur other cheek" well i dont see this happening instead what im seeing is hate, and "if someone slaps u tear them to shreds". isnt this immoral, isnt this discrimination against all religious doctrines, isnt this type of discrimination the ultimate direction to annother war, and wars in general, like the crusade. we have seen many christains committing many attrosities over the years, yet u dont see us holding them against u, (ie, hitler and the 6 million jews, stalin, and the crusades, etc..) isnt it about time we forgive and forget?
well?

I have known a man for 10 years. 5 years ago, I let my irish temper get the best of me and I called it off between us. I rushed into a marriage I later found out was abusive, and he was there for me. Everything is planned out now, but I have some questions. What does it really mean when a man says "No matter who you marry, you'll always belong to me?" What does it mean, upon seeing your children and spoiling them rotten, when he says, in a good sort of sad way and not a bad one "They should have been from me. But you dumped me". What does it mean when you are talking, and the man says he wants more children in the future? Especially when you have to work hard most of the time to get his feelings out in the first place? What does it mean when he says he never thinks anything badly of you and that just a look from you "drives him nuts" and he can't resist kissing you? Is this just talk, or is it real since he didn't try anything in the beginning?

I beleive deep down in my heart that there is a God. The problem is that I was not raised very religiously at all. As an adult, I've done some research on several different religions. However, my knowledge of any one religion is very superficial. Each one seems to make sense on a certain level, yet seem so "out there" on another level. I don't know if I'll ever be able to fully accept and participate in any religion. But I feel like I need something to believe in. I know that there is more to life that what we see. I want to raise my children to believe in something. I want some peace in this matter. Has anyone else had this problem?

Born a Jew-I sought fun for happiness, then money then lust, and finally my life was empty -yet filled with all that stuff-and I needed Messiah Jesus-first to prove to me who he was- I prayed-"God show me who the Messiah is."

on my days went deeper into porn and sin-then one day I saw Isaiah 52vs13-53vs12 written 700bce and proved to me Jesus is our Messiah--"He will be exaulted (as we were taught but the next part floored me-) "He will be first marred more than any man. All we like sheep have gone astray and the Lord will make to light on him the iniquity of us all. He will lay down his life as a lamb, and make atonement for our sins. He will die with the wicked and be burried with the rich.

Wow now me living in sin-Jesus truely loved me unconditionally -yet I had to know him to be truely free and happy. and I saw Revelation 3vs19-22 spoken from heaven 1:1) "Behold I love you and knock to come in -deliver from sin and be your friend." So I prayed that and am free and HappyRU

This is what all your Christian arguments seem to center around.

Which Muslim agreed that the Bible is correct to begin with?

if there is no verse that says jesus is the last prophet in the bible, another prophet may emerge after him.agree?

in reincarnation. It is just that this particular verse bothers me:
Hebrews 9:27--And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment
Bible says "men" not soul and spirit. When a person dies we say " Let his soul rest in peace" and not "let this man rest in peace". There's no point of saying rest in peace to a dead man which has no consciousness. But a soul needs prayer so it would stay on course on its spiritual journey. That's why we pray for the soul. So there's is no argument here. Hebrews 9:27 is correct.

EventuallytThe soul also dies( i think that is also mention in the Bible). What would be left is the spirit of the man that carries with him the memories to which judgement will be based upon(also in the Bible).

In my opnion, after judgement a "punishment" would be passed on declaring the next journey of a new man. This is where reincarnation comes into picture.

I am sorry if my last question elicit lots of angered Christian.

Take the Old Testament for example. Obviously Christians weren't around then and they weren't until the middle of the New Testament. So therefore it could be said that the Old Testament is only for Jews. But yet when you say that Christians also should be expected to follow those same teachings, Christians get up in arms about how it is not meant for them. I'm not talking about Kosher eating habits or the like. But God will say "do not follow the practices of these people" and then go into detail on what they do that is considered evil and wrong. Yet those certain things may be considered perfectly normal Christian behavior today that no one bats an eye at. Also they seem to be selective about what they follow and what they don't. God says you can't do that.

I'm wondering why the double standard? Becasue it makes the Christian sound like they don't have to follow what God says because they're too good for it.

It seems like so many don't think so. People work their whole lives away for money, possessions, clothing, houses. It seems like so few spend time to realize those talents, much less develop them !
What do you think ?

For months I have toiled over the computer on YA trying to enlightened the uptight moral minority into a higher way of being with Jesus, to be like myself, a sexually liberated creature of God.

I think I have met my true love Rev. Ted Haggard through an internet dating service. So, I plan be too busy with the raging hetrosexual Reverend and help him in his crusade to protect us all from gays and gay marriage.

So, it's Ta-Ta for now my little sweeties. I'm going be taking a long honeymoon with Jesus and the Rev. Haggard. Call me if you need me!

This is my first question here at answers. I am an atheist always have and will be. I have always wanted to know why people believe in religion. I have been researching and have come up with some theories of my own, but I have always wanted to hear from real religious people why they believe (but have always been afraid to ask) in something that has absolutely no real proof, has caused millions of people to die, validates slavery, hate , segregation and oppression yet still promote and believe that this is good for the world. I know that religion has done some good things but in my opinion the cost of one life does not make up for it ,let alone millions.

Sorry to keep asking the same question, but it keeps getting violated for no good reason and there is a serious freedom of speech and religion issue here. To the fanatic who keeps violating me: I have lots of points and can keep repeating posting the question indefinitely. That means more and more people are going to see it, and form opinions about it. It also means I’m going to keep asking Muslim questions, when I had intended to move on to other things. neat, huh? Oh, and by the way, your YA account will be terminated, eventually.

Why someone is born in a poor family and why someone in a rich family ? Some people do believe in after life n all. Some people say that it is because of the karma.. in the previous life. No one knows whats the truth...

I don't believe in, you just can't keep on doing sin and enjoy all the comforts of life. I believe in .. that a person has the right.. to only hurt himself and no one else in this world.

Logically speaking if one gets punished for his sins, then it should be in this life.. rather than the next life.. who knows about the next life.. but that generally doesnt happen..

After doing much self research, I have concluded that Hindus Only believe in one god. (Bramah AUM).
I'm a hindu myself, honestly I don't pray to hindu gods, i only follow the path of christianity.

BUT,
my parents are strong hindus, they do not know that im in the Christianity path.
My parents pray to loads of gods, not just the ONE god. So does that mean that its a total waste to pray to the other gods, since the rest of hindu's only believe in one god (bramah?) then why bother having so many hindu festivities that celebrate the victory of other gods ? example Ganesh Chadurthiri is celebrated to remark Lord Ganesh, but why bother celebrating it ? Shouldnt there be just one god like what they believe ?
