I agree,
A person's behaviour and actions are determined by:
1- The way he has been brought up
2- His genes which affects his/her personality
3- The circumstances in which he has grown up
4- His past experiences
So, where is free will?
A theist may say that he should find the right way inspite of these factors.
Then I say:
Why is he in such a disadvantageous situation than the ones who has been brought up decently, has good genes, has grown up in decent conditions etc...
The concepts "sin,heaven,hell,..." look irrational.
The self (personality) is just a pile of memories.

He tests us equally. He never gives us more than He knows we can handle.
What would happen if Donald Trump, Brittney Spears, Jay Leno and 3 middle class people and 3 poverty level people all won $5 million dollars, each? God could test them all by allowing them to win this amount of money. Who needs this money? Who wants this money? What will each one of these people do with this money? Will they invest it? Give half to charities or a church and spend the rest? Will they put some into savings, give some to charities/churches, give some to friends, family, buy themselves a new car, a new house? Will they donate it all to a school, an organization in another country? etc..... God can be testing these people and they will be judged on their actions accordingly. (along with their faith). This is just one example. But God tests us based on what He knows about us and what we can handle. He knows us best so Him knowing what we can handle and we knowing (thinking) what we can handle are two different things.
Yes, there are people that have millions of dollars, own 4 houses in 3 different countries and owns 12 cars and 6 boats and 3 airplanes. Are they handling their wealth wisely? There are people that rent an apartment, have to work 2 jobs in order to raise 3 children, has a 12 yr old car that breaks down often, buys clothes at thrift stores and needs glasses but can't afford them because their insurance doesn't cover that. With the $20,000 they get annually, are they using their wealth wisely? God tests equally and judges equally and fairly.

The ones who cruise through life are being tested as well. They are being tested in that, for example, a rich man is tested as to whether or not he will use his wealth wisely and not abuse, but use it for good. Both are types of tests, just ones a little more hard dring the actual process.
I think :).

Some of us are tested on a daily bases the others are procrastinator's basically and will be tested ten fold during the end of days.
Some of us know not to let our problems pile up around us and deal with them as they come at us while others put everything off and hope it'll just go away.

Everyone is different; and God's plan for everyone is different -- that is, everyone has a different specific purpose and responsibility (see Luke 19:11-19, Joh 14:2).
