Less people are inclined to let religion get in the way of their relationship, Muslimah.

The ones that do, end up miserable.

Now, I've a white, American friend who married an Indian Hindu whom she met when she went there and brought back here. They're both very happy with each other because neither is really "Religiously Inclined".

But, at the same time, an English lady friend who married a Muslim Pakistani who'd gone there and who'd wooed her and then she found out that he was merely using her to get the citizenship and had a Muslim wife. Needless to say, she divorced him and they deported him.

Now, the Pakistani was a hardcore Muslim who went on record to say that all "kaffir" women could only be "concubines" to a "True Believer".

I don't know if this is true, you should know better; but, then you can see what "Religion" did here.

Neither my wife, nor I are really religiously inclined, though we are Christians of different denominations, by birth; and we've no problems, on this account.

Religion beliefs is the same. My husband convert from hindu to muslim 25 yrs ago. Now we have 2 daughters. But both of our family accept us as a family. I have no problem raising our children, we raise both of them as muslim (open minded muslim). We are not very religious family(the four of us).
All my family accept my husband and me accepted by his family.

I thought i was, but I have started questioning stuff and it's been leading me down a strange road. Islam says to ponder the Quran and to think. You can't be strong in something unless you pick it apart and master it. Well, I'm working on it. My husband dragged me down. I wanted to be a completely strong muslim, but his actions basically forced me to inaction. I couldn't rest long enough in between orders.

I was Methodist and my wife was Baptist. I'm now a born again Baptist. I know, their not that far apart but I wanted a Christian experience that followed the Bible without any things man might wish to add. I found it.
