First of all, let me say that I believe in life after death and reincarnation, and if you do not, then there is no need to answer this question! A medium once said that miscarried babies live on and grow in spirit.... this has led me to ask this question...do aborted fetuses live in spirit? Will lots of women be confronted by aborted children once they pass over? And can these children be born by the same mother who aborted them with a later full-term pregnancy?

"The customs of the people are worthless, they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel, they adore it with silver and gold, they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter" (Jeremiah 10-3,4).

This sound like a christmas tradition to me!Don't you?

I keep seeing people quoting scripture (the Bible, Quran) as some sort of proof that something happened.

How can you just assume that something is true just because it is written in a book when there is no other evidence to back it up?

I also keep seeing people saying that the Bible has been proven 100% to be true but I have yet to see any of this 100% proof. Why do people continue to say this?

Note that I do have an open mind and am willing to change my opinion based on evidence so long as it is backed up. One source of apparent truth means nothing unless another source provides the same information.

A few minutes ago I posted the question included below. No, you are not offending me and I agree with all answers I received so far.

However, let me explain. I am re-working some liturate that is being used in psychic/spiritual classes and one of the pages is titled Archangel Michael. It is in such poor quality that I would like to find the words and re-do the page. I called it a prayer, maybe it is used in their meditation - I don't know what it is used for. But it is a poem/verse type page. I thought someone may recognize it and lead me in the right direction. Trust me, I am not trying to pray to the Archangel Michael.

thanks again,
Karola

previously posted qustion . . . . .

Where do I find the complete prayer to Archangel Michael that starts out with

I ask the Archangel Michael to use the flaming blue sword to sever all psychic hooks and . . . .

Maybe calling it a "Prayer" is the wrong word for this?

thanks

If I didn’t like a black person because they were black, I’d a racist.

But I don’t like really religious people because they are religious – so what’s that? I don’t mind if someone is kind of religious or they do ‘good’ to get into heaven etc, but when people believe in texts written 700-1000 years ago really annoys me.

Everyone knows the difference between right and wrong – well every ‘well rounded individual’ - but believing that your religious text is ‘The Word of God’ is being stupid. Has any really religious person every thought that the Holy Bible may have been altered (it has, but have you ever considered it?) to suit the Status Quo of that particular time.

Like Easter is a Roman holiday of fertility, that’s why you have the rabbits and eggs. And Christmas, that was some holiday where you just gave gifts in honour of some random god

What about the Qur’an – that wasn’t written down for several hundred years – PEOPLE JUST LEARNT IT WORD FOR WORD, and passed the stoy on

Your God has no problem literally tearing the flesh of small children for doing what many little children do. The don’t know any better.

2 Kings 2:23-24. "23. And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 24. And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them."

God's ego was so bruised that he decided to butcher children who naturally mock and play! Efforts are made by apologists to say that the world for "children" can be translated "young men." If this is true, I must ask what young men would find funny about a bald man to the extent that they mock him publicly? This is something children, only small children, would do, and thus, it shows how intolerant and ferocious the god of the bible really is.

KI2 24:8 “Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother's name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.”

CH2 36:9 “Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.”

If it is a typo, then why has it not yet been fixed after so many centuries?

If it is the word of God, then why did he contradict himself?

Either way, I find the fact that it has yet to be fixed to be quite pathetic.

For years my grandma always said she wanted me to have her engagement ring when she died. She passed away in September and my uncle gave a ring. It was not grandma's engagement ring. I raised my concerns but he maintained that it was. I questioned where her wedding ring was all her other jewellery and he said that was all there was. He did admit that his wife had taken her gold watch. With that said you can only summize what's happened. However back to issue of the ring which was given to me. On my return home I actually lost the ring in my car, and I kept misplacing it. My partner was looking at it and then went and lost it. it was found in the middle of the driveway! I then had a kitchen fire and burned my hand. I didn't want the ring my house as it didn't feel right. My partner took it to his place of work and put it in the safe. I phrase the question like this because for some weird reason the good people at YA removed it twice when I asked in a more direct and simple form.
