Baha'is believe that the one, true God is the Author of all the major religions. He calls them "The Religion of God". If you look at religious history as a whole, you will see that they appear on Earth every 500 - 1000 years. This is not an accident. This is God fulfilling His promise to never leave us alone ~ without divine guidance. Baha'is refer to this as progressive revelation. Each Divine Messenger reaffirms and reawakens the spiritual teachings of the former Messenger, but changes many of the social laws to suit a changing world.
Concerning language, it is organic and ever-changing. After leaving Africa, humans migrated to all parts of the earth. This took thousands of years, many of which were spent in geographical isolation. Today we are witnessing the 'reunion' of the human family and language is slowly conforming to globalization. Within any language you can hear sounds and words which are the same or similar to many other languages. It is time for the world to adopt or develope a universal auxilliary language so that, no matter where in the world we are, we can understand one another.

How ever it came about Mankind has free will.
Society is made up of different cultures and race, initially geographically isolated.
Man has always sought to understand his surrounds and question his existence and I would suggest that the various different religions and languages have developed on the basis of establishing communication and seeking to find a place in the cosmos.

God split up all the languages at Babel to keep people from working together to challenge him(a losing battle!) And as for religions ,think : who would want to counterfeit a paper bag? no-one!! but something valuable like a $100 dollar bill is worth it. the same holds true with the truth about God. I believe satan is a counterfeiter.

There is only one religion. All messangers came with one basic massage, Worship one The God.
Injeel revealed on Jesus(pbuh) was no doubt was from The God, and true.
But unfortunately later people of ignorance started deviating from original scripture and for their own illogical and currupt interests they keep making changes in holy scripture.
Todays Bible ( No offend), is not the scripture Jesus(pbuh) left preached and left for Guidance and appearances, just recognize each other not for discrimination.
