...all you want to do is tell people that you're really hurting, but no matter how hard to try, and how many times you try, over and over and over, you just close up and can't tell anyone?
Please pray for me. I'm not even sure what I'm hurting about. All I know is that I wish I had someone I could tell. I can't even tell my own husband!
Is there a phobia about telling people your feelings?
I think I have it. I've wanted to tell people how I feel for YEARS but I just can't. Even if I want to cry, I bottle it up and save it until I'm completely alone.
There's no way I can cry in front of other people.
What on earth is wrong with me??
I know I know... go see a therapist. I can't because I live out in the country and I can't drive, and I can't tell me husband that I want to go see one.
*SIGH!*
It's so frustrating.

for attention? I mean, a true atheist doesn't believe in religion or spirituality at all, so they wouldn't be coming to this category!!!!!!!!Let's all pray for them, in Jesus name I pray that their eyes be opened!!!!!!!!! And Jesus, I thank you, because I know that every knee shall bow and every tounge confess that Jesus Christ is lord!!!

according to religious doctrine, god is omniscient.
therefore he knows all.
therefore there is one definitive reality .
therefore we are all predestined according to religious doctrine.
but many say we also have free will.
i see a way this may be legitimate, but i dont know, it seems real shifty.
think of a person as a marble and their life's course as a tube which they travel down.
they want to follow the tube b/c of the force of gravity, so this is sort of like free will.
but i am very doubtful of this truly being free will as the tube, unless it is totally vertical, also influences their course, and even if the marble wants to break through the tube, it cannot.
i think this is an accurate metaphor for life's course as Christian doctrine sees it, but that really doesnt seem like free will to me.
what do you think??

Thus being your own god ending and begining with you and in its self being a religion of self god opposing all other gods. Or can you define it another way

* Jesus prayed to his God and Father.
* Jesus claimed to be the Son of God not God himself.
* John 3:16 says that Jesus is the first begotten Son.
* Just before he died on earth, he prayed to his God, "My Gy God my God why have you forsaken me?..."
* When he went back to heaven he sat at the right side of his Father.
* In Corinthians (after he was resurrected) he hands the world back to his Father after a thousand year reign.

Mark 13:32, RS: “Of that day or that hour no ones knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Of course, that would not be the case if Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were coequal, comprising one Godhead. And if, as some suggest, the Son was limited by his human nature from knowing, the question remains, Why did the Holy Spirit not know?

Or raised in another religion and leaving that faith.
Do you feel any guilt or wonder if you should go back?

I understand this is such a generalized question and I'm sorry for that, but I don't know how else to phrase it. I had a Southern Baptist preacher tell me that it wouldn't matter if I was Baptized because I was female and therefore the root of all that was evil and all women would burn in hell.
I would like to believe this was a single sick individual, but I know the congregation heard and not one person around challenged his statement. I was about 5 years old.
I mean no offence by my question, simply looking for validation that it was the person and not the whole.

There are hundreds, maybe thousands of religions in the world. All have their holy book or stories which "prove" the divine truth of that religion. Most claim to be the one and only truth, yet most are mutually incompatible with one another. None give any real evidence for their stories of miracles or supernatural occurences. Out of the mass array of religions, what makes YOURS the correct one? And if you would have been born somewhere other than where you were born, do you think you would have converted to be the same faith you are now? For example, you're a Christian from Texas. If you would have been born in Afghanistan, for example, do you really believe that you would not have been just as ardent a Muslim, and that you would have still found the "truth" in Christianity? Not one believer has been able to give me a good answer to this one thus far.

Are we or the christians/catholics and all others who believe that Jesus will come have prepared themselves?I mean that the teachings of Jesus and Mary were totally different and todays people who considered themselves to be christian/catholics etc are not following the teaching of Jesus but they are pointing fingers on Muslims. But still i totally respect everyone whehther they are christian or catholics who are following the teaching of our Prophet Jesus and living a pious life.I also request to all religious people and virgins to make time and read eacth others religions as well(such as Islam)as there are many points on which muslims, catholics and other religions are agree with such as on over Lady Mary and Jesus the Prophet of Muslims, because i believe that when there are two things, there must be one more righteous than the other, so we must research and follow the right one.

If you really knew were it came from you wouldn't celebrate it. I was reading were it really came from. You may not believe me or what ever. It came from the so called GOD Nimrod. He married his mom and and had children with her. Her name was Isis also known as ishtar (easter). They never told people that they had a kid together. She said it came from the holy ghost. She symbolizes the bunny for easter. Bunnies do not lay eggs. They need a mate. Pagans tradition mix with Christianity. All of the holidays true history is evil. It's all sugar coded

Millions and millions of planets in this universe, probably a lot of them with life on it, we can't be the only planet with living creatures on it. (the fact that 'they' don't contact us, is the biggest proof that there is very intelligent life on other planets)

God seems to have made all of those planets. Anybody have any information for me on how many of those planets were visited by Jesus?

I can not understand why people bash other religions, But I see "christians" bash Mormons ( who are christian) more than any other religion. They read the bible, they belive in Christ. They believe that Christ visited ALL of his people after the resurrection, but for some reason that tiny detail enrages so many WHY???

as a Roman-Catholic I've noticed rampant attacks on the Christian faith. No atheist dares attack Judaism or Islam. I understand that most are only attacking the majority of this country, Christians, but I don't understand why. Most Christians are pretty quiet. You do get sects that go out and try to preach and shove their points down your throat but don't atheists do the same? Now, while it's easy to make comments about pedophiles passing off as priest and how the Church covered it up (look up Canon Law, though it is dated), how some Christians don't view evolution as fact (it is a theory), and to make rude comments which I'm sure plenty of you will do, I hope that some atheists or even others of different faiths will simply answer my simple question; Why all the Christian bashing?

Okay, bacteria has a purpose and place in our bodies. However, why is it that people in the bible with obvious physical symptoms are referred to as possessed. Or they are treated like they were made sick because they were evil people? If God inspired the bible, wouldn't he have let the writers know the real origin of these diseases? Also, did God create viruses? What purpose would viruses would have served other than to hurt mankind and the animals? Why would God allow for his word to seem so superstitious and misinformed? Wouldn't he know that after humans learned more about science and the human body, intelligent people like me would question the credibility of the bible? How can I believe if there are so many flaws and cave-man like things in the bible without sacrificing my intelligence and putting blinders on?
