As a Christian I would like to apologise...

To the ACLU, I apologise for being politcally incorrect and for bearing the name of Christ, which is in itself offesnive.
I also apologise for calling the Hollidays Christmas, because I'm sorry for causing anyone else the unpleasentness in hearing the word Christ
To the anti-Christians: I would just like to apologise for existing., for being the center of your anger and hatred, it must be very stressfull on you. I'm sorry that I have to represent such a horrible image of a person in your mind.
I am sorry for being a terrorist because I carry my Bible to school, I sencerly hope that I didn't cause anyone any sort of uncomfort.
I am also sorry for causeing you any pain becasue I believe in the love that Christ taught, oops, sorry I mentioned His name.
I applogise for the right to vote and being involved in politics, there is no place for a radical like me.
I guess that in this"open-minded society"there is no room for people like me.

Three days after being crucified and buried, Jesus was missing from his burial tomb. Some say Jesus' disciples stole his body and concocted a story that he rose from the dead. If that's true, why would the 12 apostles die for something they knew was a lie? Would you?
These 12 disciples went to their deaths proclaiming what they had no doubts about--that Jesus had risen from the dead, proving that he was everything he claimed to be...

I see many people attacking Christians saying ' I see what effects Christianity has on the people who follow it and I choose not to follow' What kind of effects are you guys talking about really.. What have you got that we don't? The only difference between us ( since we are all sinners) is that we choose to follow a way away from sin through Jesus in order to improve our lives.. In the meantime we live like you live.. maybe better.. But do tell me about these effects..

So many times I have read the same old question, and someone has said there is no God, or prove that there is, well Prove there isn't. I know no matter how times people say read that story book the bible, but there is no proof, only words.
I have faith in God, but can not accept man made religion, if you read the bible and compair with the Hebrew text you would see how badly it was translated.
God is there for us all, so my question to you all is prove he isn't, and don't blame him for all things that go on in the world today because much of that is man made.

accept as truth is still based on your own limited understanding, whether you pick and choose what you want to believe, or decide that it is only possible to say you can't know. For those of you who say that you believe in only things that have proof, have you looked at the actual reasearch done on what you believe or you just assume because you saw it in some book (or on TV) that it is actually true?

We all have to decide what we think is true. We Christians simply wake up in the morning knowing that God's love is with us.

Someone I knew was, and stopped to help someone who was having car trouble. How was he repaid? With 2 bullets in the chest.

Why even bother being a good samaritan anymore?

and for those who are religious
are you really that sure that there's something waiting for you on the otherside?

The United States went into Iraq to dethrone a barbaric dictator who was unjustly torturing and murdering his own people. If these crimes were wrong when Saddam was doing it, what makes it right when barbaric extremists do the same thing under the auspices of religion?

If cruelty of a leader is just cause to invade a country, why do we draw the line at the dictator, yet allow the citizens to slaughter and stone to death victims of an archaic regime?

The US has been unable to establish law and order in Iraq. At least while we occupy this country, should we bear any responsibility for the barbaric executions of homosexuals, women who were raped, etc.? Should we at least protest? Should we do nothing?

Before answering, remember that injustice and cruelty are always injustice and cruelty --regardless of how they're dressed up in religious robes.

What I mean is, were you so disillusioned or disgusted by your former beliefs that you would have just gone anywhere else?

Or did the new religion or belief simply look more appealing to you? (I say "belief" to include you atheists and agnostics.)

Where did you leave, and where did you go?

I used to be an Evangelical Christian. I spent one year as a church-shopper, then another as an "apatheist" who enjoyed sleeping late and being home in time for the race. I walked to Paganism after picking up a book and meeting a couple of Wiccans. I'm glad I didn't encounter Paganism when I was running away screaming from my Assemblies of God church.

Christians, do you beleive that there are people in heaven now?

If so then when Jesus comes back will he pull them out of heaven to judge them? In the Apostle's Creed it states "He will come again to judge the living and the dead"

This is a serious question, I would really like to know how you feel about this.

I mean really, Dunkin Donuts hates Entenmanns, Krispy Kreme thinks they are better then everyone else and they are the only true donuts. Bakers Dozen only thinks 13 should be entered into Heaven, and Honey Dew doesn't celebrate with coffee. All this hatred and diversity is making the world evil. Can't we all just agree to worship our donut and not force our selection on someone else? Isn't their roof for all donuts?
