I believe we all get to Heaven. That's where we'll be taught the truth

Obviously most of the previous answerers are ignorant of the difference between time and eternity.

Heaven and Hell exist in eternity, where there is NO past, NO present, NO future as there is in time. There is only NOW.

When Christ was crucified and died, He went to Hell. There He opened its gates and invited all within to accept Him and His salvation. When He resurrected, those who accepted His invitation were allowed into Heaven. Since this all happened in eternity, that means that every single human being, from whoever was the first to the last has that invitation. It is delivered AFTER corporeal death. It is delivered within eternity. It doesn't matter a damn what faith, if any, they had in life, for all that is in time. What will matter is what they say in eternity to Christ's offer, "Come. Follow Me." Accept Him then and go Home to God. Reject Him then and go to Hell. Simple, huh?

Nope. Two choices. Catholics tried the Purgatory thing, but it doesn't make any sense. How bad do you have to be to go to Hell. God would need to develop some pretty serious spreadsheets with some sophisticated calculations to decide. but he doesn't. So let Jesus in, friend, and we'll meet in Heaven.

It's either Heaven or hell. There are no other places. Before Jesus died on the cross, those who obeyed God's law and died before Jesus did, when to and are still awaiting Jesus return in the bosom of Abraham.

Amen to what Miguel said. Believing is not enough. You must freely surrender the whole of your life to christ, which includes ALL areas of it. Salvation is by faith in Gods grace, but that grace is only given to those who honestly ask for it, comitting their entire selves to God, and accepting God's loving discipline in their lives.

On the issue of Purgatory - it is never mentioned in the Bible, therefore it does not exist. It is purely an invention of God-less people in high authority in the Church in the Middle-Ages.

There is only Heaven and Hell, nothing in between.

All non believers go to hell, but they're not the only one's. So called "christians' who live in total disobedience are hellbound as well. Tough reality that no preacher will preach these days. They're too busy sugar coating the truth.

I believe those who reject God by continuing in sin will go to Hell and I don't believe there is a in between state.

One or the other is it. The devil, the fallen angels and unbelievers on hell and Christians and before Jesus came, the believers in God in heaven, also messianic Jews.

I think only catholics believe in purgatory.

Judging by the christian wrath I've seen out here, though, it's straight to hell with us!
