I believe that God speeks to me all the time. I don't necessarily hear his voice or see the heavens opening up with the Hallelujah chorus in the background as in the Hollywood movies, but I believe that He can speak to me through Scripture, through people, through events. Lately, I felt as if I needed to get my anger, energy, and emotion out of my system in a positive way, other than work and taking care of a baby. One day, I was talking to my boyfriend, and he told me that he was picking up an old hobby. Right at that time, I realized that I felt God was telling me that I needed to pick up my violin, which I hadn't played in years. Now I am back in orchestra and am happy.

He speaks to me with every breath I breathe, for He gives me life.

He speaks to me with the rise of every sun, and moon, for He is my day and my night.

He speaks to me when the flowers bloom and leaves fall, for He is my season's changed.

He speaks to me from the mountain tops and the valleys low, the rivers long and the oceans wide, He is my majesty.

He is the Almighty, who is and was and is to come. He is everywhere, from everlasting to everlasting. He simply is and He simply speaks, we just need to be still and know that He alone is God.

And by the way, that "still small voice" (Otherwise known as your conscience) is the Holy Spirit knocking at the door of your heart. Jesus said, if any man hear (That knock) and let Him in, He will enter and dine with him. ----- You might want to listen for that knock. He's there ya know and He has a feast beyond all feasts to share with you. But He loves you enough to not walk in on His own. He has given you a choice to leave the door closed or to open it.

Not many audibly hear the voice of God. If inner voice doesn't cut it with you, then you cripple the spirit. It would be like saying, call your dog but you can't use any auditory stimuli.

He speaks to me every day of my life, since I became born again. Praise the Lord!!
