Always has been and always will be but the flash is weak (maybe I should say hard). All people masturbate and Christians surely do so but put the blame on the devil or satan and ask forgivness after pleasuring themseld and ask for forgivness and do at all over again and again and again and again......and kepp blaming satan for it and keep asking for forgivness. They dont only do this for masturbation but everything else they do. They always have and always will. Its their way of life to cheat, comit crime and sins and place the blame else where while feeling superior then thou and wanting to get to heaven and beliving thet they will. Someone need so inform then that there isnt a god, heaven or hell but they surely wont listen because the church has then all brain washed and fooled while the church takes their hard earned cash and their soul. If there is a god then "may be forgive their sorry As* souls". but he cant because their isnt a god to do that.

So what is your point? Because you are an atheist and not bound by any sort of spiritually-driven quest for higher peace that gives you a license to steal, lie and cheat? Christianity, as is all religions, are a set of beliefs and rules by which you attempt to live your life. Just like goverment laws. We all break them every once in a while (like speeding or making a turn without your stupid blinker) without it condeming our soul to hell.
And in response to Rob:
I am not christian, let me clarify that first. But I agree that you should not use forgiveness as a free-get-out-of-jail card. I do believe that a good christian should know that asking forgiveness does not equate to receiving forgiveness for that sin. I also believe that religion can be practiced in less than optimal ways, but the main purpose of religion is to produce "good" human behavior and that isn't such a bad thing is it? Even though we can't all agree which behaviors aren't "good".

It's called works of the flesh. Rom. 8: 5, 6, 7, 8.--minding of the flesh means enmity with God.
Sure, it's a sin and self-control is difficult to attain on our own, that's why we ask our Heavenly Father for self-control in all things.
It was set out in Leviticus 15: 16, that God considers those who act in this way are considered to be unclean. In Gen. 38: 9, 10, we can also see that the wasting of semen is also part of that which displeased God.

Blue balls are a sturdy indicator that masturbation can not probable be incorrect. you're sexually mature, having healthy urges, you do no longer look married, so what else are you going to do with your urges? in case you probably did no longer have sexual urges, it would mean something substitute into physiologically incorrect or which you had an ailment. speaking of xtianity, what's the great fish that swallowed up the messenger of peace? xtainity is an aggressive abomination (sturdy as against evil mythology that originates in babylon faith) that swallowed up Judaism, mistranslated and paganized its scripture, and teaches a faux doctrine. i does no longer worry too a lot approximately what xtianity fears. i'd whether, worry approximately blue balls and the shortcoming of concentration, aggression or having unprotected intercourse on a whim considering you're too attractive to think of as we communicate. actuality (Tree of existence) is God's kingdom, and each little thing is in appropriate order right here. awaken to actuality and the rational recommendations you have been born with and each and all of the priority will pass away too.

WELL I'M A CHRISTIAN AND ACTUALLY I'M NOT SURE IF ITS A SIN OR NOT.
I'M SURE SOME CHRISTIANS DO MASTURBATE, ALOT OF PEOPLE DO, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT RELIGION THEY ARE. IN MY OPINION I DON'T BELIEVE ITS A SIN, I DON'T SEE HOW IT CAN BE A SIN TO PLEASURE YOURSELF AS LONG AS YOUR NOT MESSING WITH PORN WHILE YOUR MASTURBATING. I FIRMLY BELIEVE PORN IS A SIN THOUGH. BESIDES THAT ITS BETTER TO MASTURBATE THAN HAVE SEX WITH OTHER PEOPLE, OR W/ SOMEONE YOUR NOT EVEN MARRIED TOO. WHY PEOPLE DO IT, I WOULD SAY TO FULFILL THEIR SEXUAL NEEDS, MAYBE THEY DON'T HAVE A PARTNER TO DO THAT FOR THEM. CHRISTIANS HAVE NEEDS TOO JUST LIKE ANYONE ELSE. IVE DONE IT BEFORE AND I DON'T ASK FOR FORGIVENESS FOR IT CAUSE LIKE I SAID I DON'T BELIEVE ITS A SIN. IF IT WAS A SIN AND I DID IT I WOULD ASK GOD TO FORGIVE ME OF MY SINS I WOULDN'T SPECIFICALLY MENTION THE SINS I DID, CAUSE HE ALREADY KNOWS ALL MY SINS.

Yes in a way, it is dangerous to do so, for this reason:
Mat 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
And as far as Christians sinning, yes of course we do, we are just forgiven, A true Christian will be convicted of sin and will strive to fight it, a False Christians will have the erronious Idea that he has a license to sin thinking that He has fire insurance.
Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Being a Christian does not mean that you will never sin again, it means that you are forgiven of them, but it doesnt stop there, You have to continue to fight against sin until the day you Die. Paul said that he fought the good fight , he finished the race he ke[t the faith, that does not mean he won it, You dont have to win the race or fight as Christ has already done that for you, but you must finish it.
2Ti 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith:
Christ said that we must overcome.
Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, [which is] new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and [I will write upon him] my new name.

That is still considered fornication, and that is a sin.
1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Well, the only time the spilling of the seed is mentioned in the Bible, God smited the man. But, the reason that God smited him was not simply for the man spilling his seed on the ground (he was not masterbating when he did it).
Masturbation specifically is not mentioned, so for people to interpret it as being a sin is not directly supported in the Bible.

Everybody masturbates no matter what religion, those that don't become radical islamic terrorists!
Now if only they would grab ahold of their wee wee's and give it a w@nk, there would be alot less problems in the world. Even the prophet mohammed tossed off on the days he wasn't banging his 1,000 wives, I know I've seen the pictures on the internet!

I am a Christian and never in all my years of going to church have I heard that masturbation is a sin. I know the Catholics think it is. We just believe it is human nature.
