I am not affiliated with any church or organization. I have my own personal beliefs. However, I feel that beliefs should be public or private, whichever works best for the believer. I do not believe that you should push/force your religious beliefs on others though.

I do have a serious problem with government being involved in religion. Taking it out of schools etc. I find it interesting that schools have strict rules about religion in school, however, the class still participates in holiday parties such as Christmas, what could be more religious than that? I think that it should be in the school, in public, anywhere, those who believe in it, should participate. Those who don't, don't participate.

We see things every day that we may agree or not agree with. ie: the way people dress, jobs people have, parenting techniques etc. Everyone has there different beliefs, preferences, etc. that's what makes us all the unique individuals we are.............................................................................

No, it should not as freedom of speech is protected under the first ammendment.

Further, no ones beliefs should be banned or censored in public for the same reason. I am not religious, but I understand their right, so if they would like to talk about their god all day, have at.

You'd be taking away freedo m of speach if you prohibit people from practicing their beliefs in public, but then again I don't know cause I sure would like to get rid of those Jehova Witness people.

a friend of mine said that as long as there are tests given in school there will always be Prayers. Personally feel this country was founded on three things THE DEITY being one of the three.

the minute we forget THE DEITY need to be acknowledged in public we are forgetting to give credit to THE MAJOR FORCE which is behind our great country.

without acknowledgment we are going to fall and when we fall there will be many who will be asking " what happened ? "

That is like saying that all opinions should be banned.

I think religion is a personal matter, and saying that, it should be allowed in public, so long as it doesn't encroach and force its way onto your beliefs.

A point that we must think seriously.
Faith must be private and individuals interest.
Religion is a barrier between the Creator and individual.

No. I'm an atheist, and I don't like religion, but if I want religious people to put up with me then I have to put up with them, to a certain extent. As long as they don't expect the state to support them, and as long as they don't expect me to live according to their religious beliefs and dogma, then it's OK.
