Booze is probably more harmful to both the body and the environment in the long run. It requires distillation and the use of energy to produce, materials for aging and packaging and creates a lot of trash with that packaging.
Weed is just that... a weed. It can be used as feed supplement for livestock, the seeds are highly versatile containing valuable nutrients and oils, the stalks can be used to make rope and clothing and the waste turned back in to the soil to enhance arability.
The physical effects of each are well known, both the altered states and the damage abuse can cause.
Booze is notorious for the deaths it causes each year... wrecks, cirrhosis, acts of violence and just plain stupidity.
Weed has few of these drawbacks though it does have its own, more subtle dark cloud of abuse... It is suspected that very early use in males alters the production of testosterone and may affect masculine development and fertility, the smoking of it probably causes a higher incidence of mouth and throat cancers due in part to the heat in addition to the chemicals such as tar. Lethargy is a bigger problem than it first appears as well. Clarity of thought and lack of attention to detail can create real problems in quality of output and safety in the work place.
Either, used in moderation and under the proper circumstances, are useful for inducing altered states that we evidently need if historic use of mind-altering substances is any indication.
Personally, if I must deal with folks trashed on one or the other... I would choose the weed heads... They are just generally more pleasant to be around and have more interesting things to say and think about. Not one of them has ever thrown up on me or wrecked my car either!

Only Booze at the mo man. I cant smoke weed right now cause i live with my mum and she would freak. I like getting totally smashed up with both though. You know to the point where you can't even move to switch off the telly or to lay down in bed?
get what you can while you can. thats my advice.

Booze can change your personality as soon as you get drunk,from a peaceful type person to an aggressive person,or make you say or do stupid life lasting things. Weed keeps you cool and when smoked with friends and listening to music or just chatting it,s a nice feeling with no hangovers and a good harmless time.

Booze definitely! With drink you can't remember what an *** you've been the night before. Weed you get paranoid about the night before!

Booze for me! Weed is ok sometimes, but unpredictable. Mostly I find it a bit boring.
