Is there a reasoning behind why mother raises a child going through a lot of pain and problems., headchaes. Is mother being logical doing things without expecting return? In eyes of Science, are mothers unreasonable beings? (I am alive thanks to my mom). In the eyes of science if I am not mistaken mothers actions can not be explained in scientific terms. or with theory of evolution.

There ARE differences between humans and other apes. Acknowledging that we come from a common ancestor will not affect the real differences. So, since admitting the real relation won't change your precious differences, why not do it? Many would say that it goes against the Bible, but we really are related. DNA evidence, and the OBVIOUS similarities are ENOUGH to prove that. Christians make apologies for the Bible all the time (like 6 of God's days are longer than 6 of ours) so I think it's actually narcissism that keeps your minds closed to the ideas in the theory of evolution--you are somehow afraid that it diminishes you to actually BE an animal. Am I right?

You're a woman. You don't allow yourself to be alone with guys, young old, married or single, you always have a woman with you. You never smile at them or look at them in the eye to prevent them from thinking you are flirting or want some sex when you never do. You never ride alone in a car with guys. You never show chest or legs, your shirts go up to your neck, you always wear jeans and shirts that go down to your buttocks, you wear baggier clothes so guys can't notice your curves or what not.

Too much? Voice your opinion! I don't care what culture/religion/spiritually you're in.

I don't under why many Christians (though not all Christians) feel that I, and all other non-Christians, should convert to Christianity.

I am a Pagan, and for me it is the only spiritual path that has ever felt true or correct. But I don't think that everyone should believe what I do, or that anyone other than myself would be happy believing what I believe. I think that the path I'm on is a good spiritual path for me, and for me alone.

I didn't ever believe that any other religion was true, no other religious beliefs ever sounded like anything but odd stories to me. I fully understand that many people do believe that their religious paths are true, and I think that these religions are true for the people that believe in them.

But I would be a very unhappy Christian. I don't believe in any of the Christian doctrins, and I would be unhappy pretending to do so. I don't understand why anyone would want me to pretend to be something I just never could truly be. Can you explain it to me?

For the unintiated...

"For about two centuries, the hideous maceration of the body was regarded as the highest proof of excellence. . . .St. Simeon Stylites is probably the most remarkable...For a whole year, we are told, St. Simeon stood upon one leg, the other being covered with hideous ulcers, while his biographer [St. Anthony] was commissioned to stand by his side, to pick up the worms that fell from his body, and to replace them in the sores, the saint saying to the worms, "Eat what God has given you."

Almost all Christian denominations and churches recognize that demons exist but almost NONE of them will tackle this problem. Why don't churches have regular demon casting out sessions? I believe this is a very common problem and I don't understand why there is hardly any help available.

Do bishops love Sci-Fi.

We have a few bishops over to bless the Holy Stone of Clonrichart and I suggested we watch Aliens on TV. Fr. Ted said it was a stupid idea but Im convinced that bishops love Sci-Fi.

Should I ask the bishops if they would like to watch Aliens?

Why do all Muslims need to be deemed terrorists BEFORE we decide that their idealogy (Islam) is a menace to humanity?

If some Muslims are ok, despite Islam, does this prove that the violent Idealogy of Islam is not a problem?

I read an answer saying that muslims are the greatest evil facing the world today, and I thought this was disturbing, especially from someone who claims to follow Christ.
Christians, we need to realize that Satan is the greatest evil facing the world today, just as it has always been - not any group of people, or any religion. He doesn't only deceive those who don't follow Christ - he can deceive us too if we're not careful.

"We are now in the process of putting born-again Christians on every school board in America.... A school board with five members needs only three Christians to take complete control of a school district. You can literally own that system and control all personnel, curriculum, materials, textbooks and policies."

Why is it 1000's of questions with messages of hate and contempt of Christians and Jews are acceptable in Yahoo!'s eyes, however, share your opinion of Muslims, who routinely profess their hatred for and willingness to kill all non-muslims and you get a violation notice.

Note that hate extends to Yahoo! administrators and liberals who support muslims. It really doesn't matter how much you bend over backwards to support them, they will never accept you.

This happened in Pakistan and was reported by THE VOICE OF THE MARTYRS, from WORLDNETDAILY.

Okay... I know the atheists think God is a myth. The agnostics think God is an idea. What do theists think?

I don't think God is "supernatural." If God exists, I think it is as natural as everything else.

I don't think God is vengeful, jealous, etc. If he's that great, he's smarter than petty foolishness.

What do you think?

Pagans had human sacrifices, The Pagan Romans tortured and killed Christians, Christians killed Pagans and Muslims (and a lot of other Christians) in the Inquisitions. In spreading the word they killed a lot of native Americans and other Native peoples.

Is it fair to judge by what went on hundreds and thousands of years ago?

Why do you choose to worship the creation of God (rocks, trees, animals, humans...etc) rather than the God Himself? What makes you stick to your idol worshipping religion, and not to convert?

P.S God here refers to the Creator of the Universe, not to Jesus (peace be upon him), not to Holy Ghost, neither to Mother Mary.

If you have a slightest thought that the bible might have a mistake in it, think again. If you asked yourself: Is all of the Bible inspired? Many believe only parts of it are. 2 Timothy 3:16 (open ur bible) OR The Bible is an ancient book with old-fashioned wording and concepts. Don't you feel it is unsafe to rely on something so far removed from our enlightened day? 1 Peter 1:25 (open ur bible)
I hope these two verses help you realize that unlike there's nothing left on earth you can trust, you definitely should trust the Bible, if you're a skeptic and you're still not convinced, I'm sorry.
May God bless You all!
