Yes, I would agree that "Satan is the greatest evil facing the world today". I agree with your entire statement in fact. This is why Christians should try to read "the word" (Holy Bible) daily.

In answer to your opening question: Were the Nazi's a group of people and not just an ideology? Yes, of course they were. When any large population deems itself above all others in the world and aims to militarily squash, murder, or enslave those who they decide are unworthy or beneath them, for whatever reason - the world is always in for trouble. We've witnessed genocide of whole populations of people in countries around the world many times since WWII. Do you think that if they had the means, those who were committing these genocidal acts would carry it worldwide? I do, I have no doubt that they would. Evil resides in corrupt power and there is no shortage of that in this world. If you wish to believe that it's Satan causing these horrendous acts, roll on. I choose to believe that man is quite capable of evil all on his own, he doesn't need a mythical creature to put the blame on for his own evil nature. It reminds me of murderers or sexual predators in prison who all of sudden find Jesus and get "saved." Sounds real nice to a parole board. Then they get out and wow, what a shock, they go right back to being the sick freaks they always were. The "devil made me do it" is a disgusting cop out.

History showed it over and over again... every age has their own greatest evil on earth... and they did as much damage as they could before they were erased... Yeah... I agree that Muslims are evil, very evil... in fact perhaps more evil than the Nazis... They don't just stop at one race... they want to kill all non Muslims... I bet that if they reached their goal and killed all but Muslims they will find a reason to kill each other too... and that the greatest evil... my opinion... Take it or leave it.

Hitler & his crazed goons were surrendered to satan. It's chilling to see this opulent, aggresive, determined, unrestrained growing force continue to gain support. Goal - to eliminate US & the Jewish people. They showed a graph with the US going 'down' before Israel and have 7 strategic points targeted here in US. A guy from Iran gave $100 mil to these terrorists. On the contrary the fundies may not be as serious & militant and with God being removed from many public places & creation not allowed to be taught in most schools it seems they're--not a threat.

Any religious group in the world (including muslims, christians, catholics, etc) can be considered evil. They all have roots in controlling people, killing those that don't follow and lining their own greedy pockets. So (as satan doesn't exist!) the evilness comes from those sickos who believe in "god"

unfortuneately no group can be the most evil.... that sound odd but for something terrible one group can do there is something worse that some other group can do. I would hate to think of the things that can be done to humanity. Truth be told that there are groups in the world that could completely destroy it. GONE DONE no like what so ever. I dont know what keeps them from doing it but thankfully they dont. PEOPLE ARE SCARY in general.

Sorry but unfortunately you are out of touch with reality. Satan is a myth. Islamic terrorist are not. The entire world of Islamic peoples celebrated when Amercia was bombed during 9-11, and thousands of them in the U.S.A. said they were glad. Even the Saudas went to the streets pouring out support for a terrorist who also would put them in bondage along with the rest of the world. The reality is the world leaders must step forward and put an end to Islam and soon. Thjey must demain and get all religion out of the governments world wide as religion is the most corrupting influence whether it is christian, rmuslim in any society.

Acts 15:14 mentions that God is taking out of each nation those who are willing to be known by his name.
When that work is finished, there shall be 2 classes of people.
They are mentionned in Psalm 37:10, 11 and again in Proverbs 2:21,22.
Jesus made reference to these two classes in Matthew 7:13,14.
So, yes, Satan is the greatest evil, but it can be added that a large secteur of humanity (not from any particular nation) is willingly in his control.

Naw... the greatest evil facing the world is the right-wing Christian movement in the USA. If the Moslems become too large a threat, we can nuke them... we cannot nuke ourselves.
Christian 'Dominionists' (Reconstructionalists, Theonomists) have largely usurped the local level political apparatus of the Republican Party, and are engaged in a sub rosa process to politically motivate moderate Christians under the false cover of religious issues such as morality and family values. The goal is nothing less than the takeover of all elective offices in the USA.
Their doctrine comes from the Bible, starting with the term 'dominion' at Genesis 1:28... “And God said unto them, [Adam and Eve] Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have DOMINION… over every living thing.” They interpret DOMINION as: “... a supremacy in determining and directing the actions of others or in governing politically, socially, or personally.”
They want to remake the USA as a theocracy... and they are succeeding.
Its most common form, Dominionism, represents one of the most extreme forms of Fundamentalist Christianity thought. Its followers, called Dominionists, are attempting to convert the laws of United States so that they match those of the Hebrew Scriptures. They intend to achieve this by using the freedom of religion in the US to train a generation of children via home-schooling and in private Christian religious schools. Later, their graduates will be charged with the responsibility of creating a new Bible-based political, religious and social order. One of the first tasks of this order will be to eliminate religious choice and freedom. Their eventual goal is to achieve the "Kingdom of God" in which much of the world is converted to Christianity. They feel that the power of God's word will bring about this conversion. No armed force or insurrection will be needed; in fact, they believe that there will be little opposition to their plan. People will willingly accept it. All that needs to be done is to properly explain it to them.
All religious organizations, congregations etc. other than strictly Fundamentalist Christianity would be suppressed. Nonconforming Evangelical, main line and liberal Christian religious institutions would no longer be allowed to hold services, organize, proselytize, etc. Society would revert to the laws and punishments of the Hebrew Scriptures. Any person who advocated or practiced other religious beliefs outside of their home would be tried for idolatry and executed. Blasphemy, adultery and homosexual behavior would be criminalized; those found guilty would also be executed. There are two conservative Christian pastors in Texas who have advocated the execution of all Wiccans. Ralph Reed, the executive director of the conservative public policy group the Christian Coalition has criticized Reconstructionism as "an authoritarian ideology that threatens the most basic civil liberties of a free and democratic society."
By failing to openly confront this insidious agenda, we have sown the seeds of our own destruction, while these religious wing-nuts are paving the way to Armageddon with gleeful anticipation.

The greatest evil in the world today is not a group or a powerful being, it is ourselves and our general apathy towards each other. Until we care what happens to others, we are all doomed
