seven. All the rest are "fake" prayers.

Baptists don't really have any types of prayers. You just talk to God like your talking to a person and that is praying.
There's the Lord's Prayer, but that's more Lutheran.

There is only really one prayer, The Lord's Prayer, but when broken down to the basic prayer, it is you talking to God, praising Him or asking Him for forgiveness, for wisdom or for something to allow you to become a better person.

I believe you might be attempting to reference prayer to the way that, say Catholics pray. Catholics have many different types of "scripted" prayers for different things. Christians (in the traditional sense of "Christ - followers") have basically a concept of prayer, and that concept is -- a communication with God. there is no right or wrong way, nothing you can or cannot bring up, and no right or wrong place to pray. It is purely designed to be your communication with God to develop your personal relationship with him.

it doesn't matter, you can look through the bible and recite some prayers, or if you feel as if you need to pray about something, then let 'er rip. There are as many types of prayers as there are people.

There are only two types: prayers that don't work and prayers that go unanswered.
