Absolutely 100% To get to heaven your sins need to be forgiven and the only way that can happen is by Jesus blood..

The Bible says Jesus is the only mediator between God and man and the only way that man can be reconsiled to God. People, however, were not originally to go to heaven at all. It is only because of Adam's sin and the creation of God's Kingdom government that the heavens have been opened up to a select group of humans who will rule as kings and priests with Jesus for the 1,000 years. The rest of the righteous along with the resurrected ones who choose to obey God's will--will live here on the earth in the restored paradisaic conditions that God originally intended for mankind.

John.14:6 says nothing about going to heaven. It says that Christ is the way and the truth, and that no one comes to the father except
through him(Jesus Christ)that is in prayer,so if one does not pray
to God through the Christ, they will not be heard.

John 14:6 "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Also, read all of John 10, particularly John 10:9 "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture."

Peace.

We can not make it to heaven on our own because we are sinners by nature. Jesus came as a sacrafice in exchange for our sin. If we accept salvation through him and confess our sins and turn away through repentance we will be free. Therefore the only way to make it to heaven is to accept Jesus' blood as an exchange for our sinful ways. His grace is sufficient for thee.

Romans 6:22-23
"But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is ETERNAL LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD."

Joel 2:32: "And it must occur that everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will get away safe."

Acts 2:21: "And everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved."

Rom 10:13: "For "everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.""

How do you call on the name of Jehovah?

John 17:3, "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.

Now John 14:6 applies.

(yes, John 14:9-11 talks about seeing the Father)
