I'm wondering how many Christians are even aware of the concept.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Partial_Preterism

Most people I've spoken with had no clue about this way of interpreting the "end times" and were only familiar with the dispensationalist or "Left Behind" interpretations.

Without quoting and giving me endless Bible verses, can you explain to me the concept of

God, Jesus and the Holy spirit being one? Isn't Jesus the son of God and the Holy Spirit... well I have no idea what that is

Jesus dying for our sins..... if we sin, we go to hell still, so what was the point?

First of all you make the choice whether to choose him or not.

Secondly would He not be a corrupt Judge if He did not punish people for breaking the law?

I mean unless they had already paid their fine?
Or perhaps excepted the one who did pay their fine. Jesus Christ is the payment for the Law.

Jesus paid your fine already why be so upset about it. Why spend all this time worrying about "oh I don't want to serve a God that sends people hell." Instead you should be worrying about whether or not you have broken the law and how to get your fine payed off before you have to serve time. Your fine was payed .Jesus.

Since Atheist don't believe in sin, will the ACLU defend them in a court of law because their Liberties have been stripped? These laws where written based on Biblical Scripture, so why should an Atheist have to obey them?

they realise the 9/11 and 7/7 killed lots of muslims too? I am just glad my brother didn't get on the tube to go to work on 7/7 or he would have also been a victim of these terrorists.

Well guys did u ever wonder why we seem to think that way. U notice how most people that follow another religion other than Christianity seem to say "Oh well u can believe what you want" "I believe every one can believe what suits them"

Ask yourselves why is it that Christians seem 2 think they have the answer and others don't? Just look at it logically did u ever consider well maybe they talk to u like they are the only one's that have the answers because they really are.

But i couldn't possibly ask any of you to do that kind of mental gymnastics now could I?

Also what's the point of having a religion u are not willing 2 stand up for. If u really think that u may be wrong, and that everyone should have their own no matter what and there is a possibility that they are just as right as u don't u want 2 know that u know that u know.

Who else seems 2 be sure of where they are going what religion offers that?

Again no mental gymnastics here.Just try think outside the box.

For those of you who believe in an afterlife, do you believe in a before-life? Do you think your spirit existed before you were conceived? If not, how did your spirit come to exist?

The same God who murdered the first born of Egypt, including the cattle, after forcing Pharoah to harden his heart?

The God who murdered 42 kids for calling his prophet "Baldy"? (II Kings 2: 23-24)

The same God who decided that unbelievers like Gandhi, Socrates and Buddha should get the same fate as people like Adolf Hitler? (Revelations 21:8)

The same God who forced His "only begotten son" to be nailed to a cross as a sacrifice?

Is this the God you claim is Love?

Did we hack and slash our way through milleniums of advancements to be stalled out at microwaves and rollerblades?? we conquered the mountains and valleys, the waves and the skies, through human innovation and unwavering vision, yet we have plateued on an ancient battlefield - RELIGION. We are all still captives of an idea that was created thousands of years ago to control an unruly populace, and yet still we fight it out, with suicide bombers, and suit-wearing bike riders, old men in dresses, and prepaid faith healers. If God was anything other than the specific collective imaginative manifestion of a collection of similiar belief's then his omnipresent, omniscient *** would not want you Shitting in His paradise. And an all-knowing all-forgiving God would not banish non-believers to an eternity of torment, thats not exactly all-forgiving. And lets not leave out Allah you stupid Jihaders, how long exactly do you think 72 burkaclad virgins are going to be virgins in ETERNITY??

Energy is what's usually behind any source of activity ( and christians are very fast in pointing that someone must be behind the wind blowing, people moving etc.), but people didn't know it back in the days ( just like they thought the Earth was flat) so they called it God?
If not, you sincerely believe God is a septagenaire looking dude, with blue eyes and white beard, sitting in a gold throne and looking kindly at his creation?
