First of all you make the choice whether to choose him or not.

Secondly would He not be a corrupt Judge if He did not punish people for breaking the law?

I mean unless they had already paid their fine?
Or perhaps excepted the one who did pay their fine. Jesus Christ is the payment for the Law.

Jesus paid your fine already why be so upset about it. Why spend all this time worrying about "oh I don't want to serve a God that sends people hell." Instead you should be worrying about whether or not you have broken the law and how to get your fine payed off before you have to serve time. Your fine was payed .Jesus.

Because even Christ said Hell was not real. Read your Bible.

There are 4 words used in the Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek Scriptures for Hell, and they are #1 Sheol, #2 Hades, #3 Gehenna and #4 Tartarus. NONE of these has a a burning hell fire, none!

The lake of Fire, the 2nd Death, the "lake of Fire" at Revelation 20:14 and in Acts Chpt 5 are denoted as THE SECOND DEATH, not eternal damnation. In Rev. 20:14 BOTH Hell and Death are thrown into the Lake of Fire, which is the 2nd death or eternal destruction. This means that death and hell (the grave of mankind) will be destroyed forever, just as Ananais & Sapphira were destroyed forever for LYING to the Holy Ghost in Acts Ch. 5.

There is no such place as a burning hellfire where people are tormented.
The Hebrew she’ohl′ and its Greek equivalent hai′des, refer to the common grave of dead mankind. The Greek word ge′en·na, is used as a symbol of eternal destruction.
Both in Christendom and in many non-Christian religions it is taught that hell is a place inhabited by demons and where the wicked, after death, are punished (and some believe that this is with torment).
This just isn't true, it's a mis-translation of these three words (as above) and is not consistent with a loving God.

What does the Bible say the penalty for sin is?

Rom. 6:23: “The wages sin pays is death.”

After one’s death, is he still subject to further punishment for his sins?

Rom. 6:7: “He who has died has been acquitted from his sin.”

Anyone who dies goes to the Bible hell. Hell is just the common grave. When a person dies, they are as if in a deep sleep without dreams. A good Scripture to show what happens at death is Ecclesiastes 9:10--Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest."
Also Psalms 146:4 says: "His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish."
This shows that people who die are not suffering or being tortured like Christendom claims. God is love and would never do that and the wages sin pays is death (not being burned or tortured forever) Romans 6:23

People always want the easy way out of punishment. The idea that there is a punishment that they can't get out of, or they can't get a "time out" and then be restored at the last minute, is a slap in their faces. People feel that they should believe in God in their own terms, and this why you see and hear people who get upset when God is mentioned. He does not bow to their desires, being the nice grandfatherly type that let's you get away with bloody murder, and be disobedient with no consequences. I am surprised that they do not protest the laws here about having to suffer a penalty for wrongdoing and breaking the law............Oh, wait...........THEY DO THAT TOO!!!

Hey that's great. If Jesus already paid my fine, then I won't be going to hell, even if I don't believe in him. If there's still a possibility that I will go to hell, then the price hasn't really been paid, has it?

Sweet.

Because for most people the punishment doesn't fit the crime.

Would you sentence someone to life in prison for an unpaid parking ticket?

If not, why is it OK that a decent person who treated people well their whole life - but didn't believe in Jesus - should burn in HELL and experience EXTREME AGONY for all ETERNITY!

Sorry - the punishment doesn't fit the crime.

Dust to dust. life is a gift that can be taken away if not treated with respect. A powerful creator knows that men a puny and weak...He just puts them out of their misery. but does not torment in fire. Eye for eye law would only create a short term hellfire anyway. Eternal fire would only make the laws unjust...Therefore this cannot be a teaching of the God of the Bible...Death is the opposite of life....soon the wicked shall be come non breathers..dead...doa...gone....dust to dust

Ok so god creates a man knowing full well that creating this person they will make the decision to burn in hell forever?

You don't find it suspicious that early bible creators come up with eternal paradise or eternal suffering as a carrot and a whip for you to follow them? If they said that when you die you just die, would you worship their god?

Seems to me that they invented a god and used the most convincing threats and bribes to get you to listen to him.

Lets say an all knowing god exist, don't you think he could tell real love for god over xians who follow him just to get the reward or to avoid the punishment?

I would hate for my wife to pretend to love to avoid a beating or to get a diamond ring.

hmm if hes paid our fines then why would go to hell in the first place? and if he is a just god then why does he allow rapists and murders and child abusers/molesters up there and send those of us who dont call ourselves christians to hell. that doesnt seem like a very fair judge. and why is he not punishing those who sin that say "judge forgive me" and punishing everyone else who does sin. what judge do you know would let you off of a crime cause u ask him to forgive you?

They choose not too. Then choose to believe there will be no consequence. Then choose to mock those who choose God.
And after all those choices they blame God for giving them choice.
Or like Jibba Jabba, they ask we he should care.I wonder if they would ask a judge the same after being arrested."Hey judge I had a choice whether I wanted to obey the law or not so why do you care if I chose not to obey?" Kind of ridiculous isn't it.
