Christianity is the only religioun that requires the believer to do nothing more than follow. Jesus Christ did the work. Our worth is set by God. We are worth a Son to God. Jesus only wants us to go with Him and He went first...

God loves you.
It only takes a small step of faith.

My husband's step-family is Mormon, but he was not raised Mormon.

His step-cousins all got married around 17 and had children immediately after.

Most of them are in their early to mid 20's with 3-5 children each.

All of their friends are the same, none of them went to college or got jobs, they just graduated high school and got pregnant.

Why does it seem like many Mormons have a lot of children so young?

Why does it seem like many Mormons don't value education or living independently without a spouse at 18?

I love children a lot too, family is extremely important to me, but I moved out at 18, got a job, went to college and had fun and now I am planning my first baby at 25.

(And I didn't sleep around, do drugs, drink, etc. I have only had one sexual partner and that's my husband!)

Can someone explain this to me?

Or am I just procrastinating, or just postponing/eluding the inevitable, final, disquieting answer?

For your comfort, I included the complete question in the question field, so that you don't actually have to click on the question to get the real question (and Yahoo will still remove 5 of my points for doing this good deed! Sheesh!)

no one can prove that god exsists? they keep telling you and keep saying the bible says so but have no proof to back it up. then they can get it through their thick heads that if they had just a tiny bit of proof that people might start to change their minds. that some of us can't just accept things on blind faith?

All through history Christians have been trying to force others into being Christian. Why? Because the religion sucks and no one would bother with it on their own will. So I ask a quiestion about a different religion and most of the answerers tell me to be christian.

I think that is ridiculous. It makes me believe that Christians are brainwashed just trying to brainwash others.

I apologise for the insensitive question I posted on the Witchcraft Challenge. I have deleted that question.

I also apologise, as I promised in the question, because the blog entry indeed has disappeared. A cynical person might suspect that I deleted it myself, which is true, in a sense. But it was the mostly-good-natured responses I got from sincere people that motivated that. Since, by the rules, this should be a question, I re-ask: was there something more subtle at work than my remorse that caused the blog to vanish? I have an open mind about that.

I'm looking for religious or non religious groups of people, in large scales, to analyze beliefs and summarise what is available for human beings in the USA.
Centres that do meditation, centres that do Reiki or any other type of Healing, religious groups that are "different" or special in their teachings, or beliefs.
Christians, Buddhists, etc, all do, the importance is that it has lots of adepts, maybe large scale events too.

Thanks all

How did women become so captivating?

Was it God? Did God intelligently design the female to be a wonderful creature, beautiful, exciting, intelligent, capable of doing anything?

Or is it a product of Evolution, and over the span of Oceans of Generations, did those females who have the aptitude to become beautiful and sexy and captivating get naturally selected?

Regardless, women have the most generous loving souls.

I don't care how that soul got in your body, woman, girlfriend, lover, wife, mother, soulmate, friend, sister,

How did you become, so captivating?

Yes the intelligent desing theory may prove that there is god, but if you study the theory closley it also proves that christianity is wrong, and that we as humans are insignificant. The theory simply states that something(god)set the mathamatical and physical constants during the big bang so as to allow evolution and life to happen.
Intellegent desing is incapatible with christianity.
Intelligent desing can't work without the theory of evolution!
