I mean, living in the desert, walking around all the time. No such thing as deodorant yet...
Would it tweak your nostrils a bit to be in the same elevator with him?

I never seen in the Bible of his Disciples or anyone else complaining of his odor so the answer is no.

People in Jesus time didn't have deodorants but they didn't have diets of red meat, cabbage, onions and a lot of the foods we have today that may be responsible for body odour. Try a diet similar to the types and quantities of food that Jesus ate during his time and then report back in about 6 months. You may be surprised at how good you smell compared to right now.

Everyone stank back then, for the most part. Romans had basically invented baths, so they had decent hygiene, but bathing wasn't a common practice amongst most people in that part of the world at the time. On the other hand, there were no elevators so not much need to get so close to each other, either. And you'd probably not be able to smell them over your own stench.

It is possible that after a few days wandering around the desert without the ability to shower he could have been a little gamey. But I am certain that no one noticed because they were probably gamey too.

I guess he did by our standards. However, since everyone walked or rode smelly campbels and there was no deodorant, it is doubtful that his stink was noticeable to others. Odors are adaptive. If a person smells something for so long, he/she no longer notices.

I highly doubt it. Remember when he was born the WISE men brought him gifts of Frankincense & Muir. Others brought anointing oils & herbs & spices...he probably always smelled like a fresh delicious salad.

I'm sure he did smell bad. that made it even more dramatic when he washed his disciples feet before the last supper. imagine how dirty and smelly feet were after walking in the dirt all day in open sandals?

BTW Furious Chem, your avatar is offensive. are you implying that asians look like monkeys?

Jesus bathed before entering the public venues. sometimes twice a day when in private rooms. Did you expect HIM to not know about sanitary habits?!
