Genesis 6:9 -- "Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God."
Genesis 17:1 "When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless." (The Hebrew word translated here as "blameless" is the same word translated as "perfect" in Gen. 6:9 and Job 1:1 and 1:8).

My Bible say "Blameless and Upright" and trust me, Mary WAS NOT perfect! NO WHERE in the Bible does it ever say Mary was Perfect. In fact, Christ told her that she was not his only Mother that all the older christian women in the congregation where his Mothers.
Also, Noah was Perfect in his generation for a reason. Because he was a Male from an ALL MALE descent from Adam / Seth down to him. Thus proving that his heritage was PURE.

He followed the things of God, but wasn't perfect. It says Job didn't sin with his lips.

Some versions use the word simple, blameless and perfect.
At the time God said that, the Jews were under bondage and God had no one else worshipping him.
