Anyone of any age can find enlightenment. Often, it is a matter of seeking it, but sometimes it just comes to you. The trick is to continue to pursue it further rather than assuming that the epiphany you have received is the whole of all enlightenment.

Yes. It depends on many factors, such as karma, the willingness of the person to seek and become one with God etc. To attain enlightenment such as what saints achieve is difficult for ordinary humans. Most people attain enlightenment after death. By enlightenment I mean, becoming one with God. There are few people who live every moment in the spirit of God. Such people are special beings, eg. saints, rishis etc. Depending on past life karma it is not impossible for a fourteen year old, though very unlikely for most people today. If by enlightenment you mean to love and have a close relationship with God, then of course. I once saw a little girl, about five years old, chanting and clapping with such devotion, I thought "Look at this child. There are grown men and women who do not have her gift." If someone is fourteen years old, there is nothing to say that he/she cannot be close to God. God is our best friend, our mother and father. God's love and blessings are open to all, any time, any age group, any race, any religion. In fact I remember once when I was praying...I was about twelve, I felt God so close to me. I felt his love and I was so moved I started to cry. The sooner we make God a part of our lives, the better.

Anybody of any age can get enlightenment. For most people however true enlightenment is a distant prospect-first there must be spiritual awakening to the knowledge of our purpose in life and from that eventually comes enlightenment. If you want to find enlightenment karma will give you the means to do so.
