Pagans had human sacrifices, The Pagan Romans tortured and killed Christians, Christians killed Pagans and Muslims (and a lot of other Christians) in the Inquisitions. In spreading the word they killed a lot of native Americans and other Native peoples.

Is it fair to judge by what went on hundreds and thousands of years ago?

I have nevered murdered in the name of Christianity; I have never owned or traded slaves; I have never blown people up for Allah, and I guess neither have you. I would prefer if no one but God judged me, but if you do - at least judge me on my own actions.

One should only judge people by their actions. If we start judging people for their predecessors have done, we would be enemies to everyone around us. What went on hundreds and hundreds of years ago is in the past, one has to live day by day, and look towards the future for the betterment of all. God bless you honey.

It is never fair to judge under any circumstances. William the Conqueror massacred an entire country in the process of creating the English monarchy as we know it. He laid waste to Northern England and it took hundreds and hundreds of years to recover. The sole English Pope Hadrian IV, a.k.a. Nicolas Breakspeare, issued a papal bull that encouraged Henry II to invade and occupy Ireland for God. To judge kings is political correctness gone crazy. Nobody should judge George W. Bush or Osama Bin Laden either. There are logical reasons for their politics of hate however much you loathe them. It is wrong to judge murderers, pedophiles, pimps, prostitutes, popes, priests, and people who are forced to work for a living.

It is not correct at all to evaluate people of today by the actions and/or misdeeds of their ancestors. Man changes with time and so does his faiths and beliefs. What the Pagans etc did were inhuman and out of hatred and a false sense of superiority. They failed to realise that ALL are the children of God.

No

You should judge in the first place but if you did it should be done on an individual basis and not as a whole.

For example, those people you spoke about in your question made those decisions for themselves whereas one don't speak for all.

We should not judge at all. That should be left up to God. Hebrews 9:27, And as it is appointed for men to die once; but after this the judgement.

nope, just like we arent supposed to judge muslims after sept 11. Only extremists muslims who want the end of America are those we are at war with. Same applies with your question.

Look around you? Where have we changed? One part of the population is still trying to decimate another by the cruelest means possible.
So in short. Yes!
