Does anyone know why some people love to point out mistakes that others make?

I mean the people that seem to savor when they find a little mistake another person makes.

I know little children do this...but why adults?

Anyone know why?...is it low self esteem?...why?

25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life[b]?
28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

If You Guys Say That Jesus Is God Or Son Of God...Can You Prove It From The Bible...
My Challenge Is That There Is Not A Single Unequivocal Statement In The Whole Bible Where Jesus Christ(pbuh) says Worship Me Or Where He Says I Am God/Son Of God..
If You Have The Fake Proof..Give It With The Context In Detail

1 John Chapter 4 Beloved, do not trust every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they belong to God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
This is how you can know the Spirit of God: every spirit that acknowledges Jesus Christ come in the flesh be longs to God,
and every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus Christ does not belong to God. This is the spirit of the antichrist that, as you heard, is to come, but in fact is already in the world.
You belong to God, children, and you have conquered them, for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
They belong to the world; accordingly, their teaching belongs to the world, and the world listens to them.
We belong to God, and anyone who knows God listens to us, while anyone who does not belong to God refuses to hear us. This is how we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit.
**(Jesus is not just a prophet! The prophets PROPHESIED about the coming of Jesus Christ!)*

I don't follow any particular faith or believe in any higher power/being. I feel that the taking of another life is only justifiable when defending the your own life or another innocent person and you have no other option. I am interested to know how other people are influenced by their religion or faith when it comes to this difficult question.

Please comment on your own religion and not anyone else's.

I have just been to a christening. After the service we went into a side room for coffee. My little two are happy little things and enjoy playing. At one point they wandered back into the main church area only to be told by a "very friendly" christian - sorry you cant come in here, its out of bounds and then proceeded to put a chair in front of the door so they couldnt get back in. They were not misbehaving or touching anything they shouldnt.

I am not a religious person and having kids, i look at the world from a different perspective, however, i thought that this reaction was not what i would expect of a Christian. So much for welcoming families into the church.

What do others think? Am i over-reacting?
