25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life[b]?
28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Have a nice day!!
God Bless
Peace and Love

Wonderful words of wisdom, faith and true belief. My mother and father had to live by these thoughts or they would never have survived their 54 years of marriage. They had 8 children to feed, clothe and be responsible for. My mother was disabled and couldn't go out to work, but she did more than her share by taking care of her family and her husband every day of her life. They helped me to recognize that GOD will always provide no matter what...........peace & love to them that have gone before us.....

My friend it appears you love the Bible as much as so far the four who did answer your question. However I do have a question for you. OK

Is Yahoo Q&A religion and Spirituality the proper place to post this quotation. I love the Bible and have studied it almost every day for the past 24 years. I have read it over 100 times cover to cover yet I see no good reason to post it here as a quotation as you did.

Please I am not at all questioning you or at all trying to pass judgement. I just ask you, can you honestly say your God told you to do this or is it a free will choice that you made on your own? I do agree all are told to go forth and preach the Gospel but I see no words that say go forth and read the bible or post the bible on Yahoo Q&A.

The last time I did check this section was for questions by all and right you are a part of all. Also you did ask a question prior to your post. But I wonder if just the book and verse number would not have been enough for all four of us who did answer because it seems we all do read the Bible. Maybe a different version, but a Bible.

OK, I did say my view and I also say you are free to have your view in my opinion. What is done is done,

So just smile and have a good day - you did it. Now its history. I will let My God decide.;

I love, love, love these scriptures. One of my "life verses" is contained within these: "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all things will be added to you". As usual, nothing God says is every idly said. I have done just that, I base my life on my love and belief in Jesus and God's word, God has taken care of everything else. My life is like a beautiful, fragrant garden. I lack for nothing. Thank you Lord!

I know someone who seems to live by this. He is living proof that you will be taken care of. It cannot be confused with being lazy, or with not working though.
