How does it advance our understanding of the universe to suppose that it was created by a supernatural being who communicates only through the one-way process of revelation?

Whether it's the Crusades to rid the Holy Land of Muslim "infidels" in the name of Christ, or Osama bin Laden urging attacks against non-Muslim "infidels" in the name of Allah, or the large sums of money collected from suckers by so-called psychics, or the added grief from people using ridiculous "treatments" for various ailments, there is clear danger on a personal level from non-critical thought, belief in the supernatural, religion, etc. But beyond those dangers to individuals, do you see a danger to the common good of all humans (or even all living organisms on the planet) from such beliefs?

Yahoo! Answers has separate categories for "Mythology & Folklore" and "Religion & Spirituality" -- isn't this redundant?

If somebody claims to be a faith other than yours (for example, you're a Christian and they say they're a Muslim, or you're Jewish and they say they're Atheist), do you immediately discredit anything they say about religion, spirituality, faith, etc.? Or do you listen with an open mind?

Do you take jesus at his word?

He said himself that "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the House of Israel" Matt 15:24
That means the jews and ONLY the jews( in spite of what that fraud Paul later said.).

It appears that the gentile christians are worshipping a "god" that rejects them and even considers them dogs.
Hey, check it out for yourself. Compare this verse to that bs your local pastor is spewing.

And it is in the Bible, but there is no place in the Bible or in the new testiment saying that we are allowed to eat pork.

Are we going by the word of God?

And besides, all the paintings and sculptures where he appears as blond, were made in the 15th century and past it.

Trinity Broadcasting Network, has $341,000,000.00 in cash and investments on hand. According to:
http://www.ministrywatch.com/mw2.1/H_Home.asp .

This nonpartisan ministry watchdog group has placed a warning about donating to this haven for multimillionire televangelists. TBN have begged so much that Jan Crouch, in a widely distrubuted, and very disturbing internet video, asked for GRANDMOTHERS TO SEND TBN THEIR GROCERY MONEY. It's on YouTube.com

With $341,000,000.00 cash and investments...will you be giving to TBN during their next beg-a-thon?

Dr. Hanby was my pastor when I was a teenager, prior to moving on to his current ministry. I was wondering just how many people have heard him speak. If you have heard of him and just don't know much about him, here is his website... www.hanby.org. I was just wondering what other people thought of his ministry.
